Yeah, she literally got captured and had to be saved at one point. The most OP character in the show was Doctor Phosphorous, and even he got taken out pretty easily by Batman in his backstory.

I have to agree with you on this, the What If series never lived up to its potential at all. All I ever wanted from that series was, "What if the Fantastic Four & X-Men Were In Infinity War?" or, "What If The Other 50% Got Snapped?" like, some of the most basic questions that fans had. Instead, we basically got the Captain Carter show. With the news that Hayley Atwell is coming back in Avengers Doomsday, I wouldn't be surprised if she's playing a variant of Captain Carter that's extremely similar to the one from What If.

He spoke about this when asked why he didn’t use Wolverine and said that he was too far in development by the time he knew that he was allowed to use the likeness of Hugh Jackman, but that he would’ve used Wolverine had he known earlier which version to use(Hugh Jackman, ‘97, or a new take).

The worst part of What If season 3 is that its downfall was predictable, cuz they did the one thing fans did NOT want to happen, more Peggy Carter. Look at any review of What If season 2 (and season 1 to a certain degree) and the general consensus was "less episode follow ups, more single stories" so season 3's mistakes were 100% avoidable

the one thing you NEVER want to do for an anthology series is have a running story arc or a designated protagonist. Anthology stories work best when they're a bunch of separated one shots that have nothing to do with each other; sometimes you can do follow ups like Love, Death, and Robots did with those three robots talking about the fall of humanity but even then those should still be able to stand on their own rather than be connected.

The animation style in What If...? feels geared towards a younger audience, looks kid-friendly, whereas Creature Commandos has a distinctly mature aesthetic. Creature Commandos really impressed me, the story kept me guessing and unpredictable and all the characters and their story are amazing, can't wait for season 2-DC's animation output has been consistently excellent.

I don’t disagree with the quality set up between either shows, but in truth What If and Creature Commandos have nothing remotely in common aside from both being animated. One is the final season in a loosely episodic series that portrays familiar characters we've watched in the big screen set up in different scenarios. The other is a first season dedicated to a group of characters debuting in this show (minus a couple exceptions).

What If? Suffered from the same issue as recent MCU films; being overly reliant on comedic relief to where it feels forced. Where Creature Commandos yes has comedic relief; it still managed to tell a story to make you feel connected to the characters. What If, I didn't have that same feeling towards the stories. I loved the idea of What If. I feel if it had a Love, Death, Robots approach with maybe switching up the animation story telling; I think it would be more of a hit. Because I'm not gunna sugar coat it, the animation for What If feels jarring. The animation for Creature Commandos was easier on my eyes, also the choreography for fights I felt were satisfying to watch. I'm all for Marvel getting it together, I want DC to stick with Gunn's recipe because it's definitely working.

What if was overall wasted potential. S1 was decent; writing coulda been better in some aspects, but at least it capitalized on the what if concept. S2 and s3 butchered the entire show; it made s1 retroactively worse, it recycled old concepts with stuff no one asked for, made Carter a Mary Sue, and failed to use the multiverse to its full potential.

The only problem with Creature Commandos was the military of Pokliostan (?). Basically the military and guards were getting wrecked by some frat boys but they have this crazy tech armor and relatively modern military. Then once the CC show up for the assassination they get rolled but then the CC stop and become more evasive? It's a weird power creep. Especially since this military can kill the Justice League and take over the world within the next 10ish years since the Princess looks young in her vision.

I always felt the animation for the DC animated projects feel rushed and cheap. when they first announce WHAT IF for the first time i was so excited knowing the endless opportunity to explore new and unique story and after watching 3 season, i got to point where i was so done with it,, i was so tired and don't even care anymore.. and at the end i can't believe i'm saying this but i'm glad the show is over. X-men 97 was a big suprise for me because of how well written and made it is,,, now since the what if team has taken over i'm genuently worried.

Creature commandos haha. I can't really compare it to anything since it's so weird and fresh. Haven't seen anything quite like it before. Gunn does some seriously deep emotional crap with comic book chars that's for sure haha. Agreed about What if. Seems like the random crazy not really considered lore/cannon/continuity episodes are the best. And the main story line crap is a bit of a yawner. Kind of like x files haha. Tired of watching Molder look for aliens and never finding them, can't he just chase big foot in the woods or whatever? Those are always the best episodes lol.

I didn't watch What If Season 3 entirely after seeing the Darcy and Howard episode so that was its main issue but the main issue for Creature Commandos was that it was too short but at least had a good plotline

Hello there, first time on the channel. Hhhhhhhmmmmm, I have only seen clips of Creature Commandos, so can't give honest feed back. But, What If season 3 was a pile of poo-doo! There were 2 episodes in season 3 I could tolerate, the rest are only fit for a trash compactor! No issues with the Peggy Carter character as it goes, but the whole season was poorly executed! On the whole, season 3 is something I have no problems with saying, give this a miss! Thank you for your time on this matter!❤

One of my grups about What If is that they keep focusing on the same characters we have heard so much of (enough about Iron Man, T'Challa, Peggy, etc.). Can they givr some spotlight to the others? And also, they use it to launch new ones (ahem Kahori), when again, existing characters het neglected. What If is supposed to be the alternate universe of characters we already knowm
