I just bought one for my own personal use. They come with extra tips in the handle. There is a cap unscrews on the handle. I keep one in my car in case I have to help somebody.

If the space you’re inserting the tool through is so narrow that the frame is scratching the coating off, then you are underwedging the door. While you should definitely not overinflate the air wedge and risk bending the frame, you need to create a gap wide enough that you can insert and maneuver your long reach without resistance. P.S. Personally, I recommend using the Flex Max tool (As it is thinner in diameter than the Quick Max which means you don’t have to wedge the frame as much.)
