I will reveal which synth is the Virus in 2 or 3 days. :-)

Where I could find a document pdf or similar to recreate from scratch analog synths ?

Try this article series: www.soundonsound.com/series/synth-secrets-sound-sound or this: www.deepsonic.ch/deep/docs_manuals/access_virus_b_os4_manual.pdf and also www.manualslib.com/manual/2048189/Alesis-Andromeda-A6.html . Also almost every user manual from old Roland SH synths include nice explanations about synth programming. And let’s not forget this classic work: reaktorplayer.files.wordpress.com/2018/11/rts_practical1.pdf

The SH-101 must be the one with the smoother resonance sweep, since it's analog, no? The Virus sweeps more stepped. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Many years after the recording, I’m almost sure that the Virus was the first instrument in the comparison. But not 100% sure. :-)

Is the SH-101 the second one?

I think so, but I’m only 99% sure about it. :-)

sh 101 is my fav synth. I returned Virus C back in that day because the C envelopes were not snappy as the SH 101 but I like this T1 for FM long sounds. How do you rate it compared with Microwave XT?

So you can tell which synth is the 101 and which is the Virus…? Regarding the Microwave XT, I have never tested one, so I can’t really say.

@@friendlynoise I have played forward the 101 section to the long FM sounds I love. I also want the 1994 OB-MX for that.
