You wear that shade of green very well. Thanks for the helpful videos. After years of being in touch with all of this stuff, I don’t know what I can do or what I have done. I’ve been in a phase of stopping, but I haven’t given up on it all. I have given up on the ideas of me awakening though.

When I introduce the I am statement into a state of presence there's a specific energy or you might say energetic structure that is felt to arise out of the core of the body. Not sure if there's anything to do their beyond noticing that and feeling it? Super cute dog! 🙂

Awareness has a certain energetic feel to it. It is alive and existence itself, so we can feel that. As you have access to how it feels, you can go straight to that feeling of energy in meditation and throughout the day, when you remember.

Shar everything is becoming so loud. Woke up this morning I can hear the fridge motor is on from my room and next doors aircon unit outside on. Even rolling down my window blinds is loud. I’ve never noticed the window blind so loud until this morning and I did it twice just to listen to it 😂. But Sunday and Monday were both full on days, full body trembles, emotions and thoughts flying everywhere. I’m enjoying the processes with what’s happening now that I know not to resist.. and I’ve been doing the meditation you told me. It’s great thank you!

Hi Shar. After our call (it was so valuable by the way) I am working on releasing trauma trapped in my body. My question is why even bother when in reality I don’t have a body? I feel like I am completely sold on the fact we are not a body or a mind, yet I still carry resistance and trauma (closeness) in the body. On one level I can see how this is in the road of waking up but on the other…surely once the belief of I am not a mind or body reaches 100pc (no doubt) then there is no care for trauma etc in the body (thus no need to work on this?) thanks Shar

@@andrewrossroberts Hi Andrew. There is a body-mind, but it’s not yours. The body stores the karma/trauma and is asleep in a way, just like the mind. Through the body based healing work, the karma is deleted and the body comes fully online - fully here. The only way to live as emptiness in form (abiding awakening) is for the body to be empty of content/karma. We experience this in the body as the felt sense of presence. It’s not enough to break the belief that you’re not the body, although that’s important. You’ll know you’re making progress with healing, as the body will feel more and more present - you will feel every part of it.

Putting your attention on awareness when you remember during the day and during meditation will be sufficient to make progress. For example, during a conversation, we can see if we can melt into the awareness position and converse from there.

Many teachers, including Adyashanti warn against reifying awareness, what's your take on that ? As in "'there is' vs 'we are' awareness"

There is no way to accurately speak about reality, as communication is in the realm of duality. Each word chosen will appear to turn awareness into an object or identity, which it is neither. We need to move beyond getting caught up on the words of the teaching and experience awareness for ourselves. This is where it will make total sense, but not to the mind.
