I am over a year on going with a injury that is so painful it brings me to tears at times. I walked on it for 2 months before getting a boot on it (there was a fracture) I wore it for 6 months! I feel there must be some pinching of nerves. Walking (hiking) really aggravates the foot which is very crappy as I am very active. The amount of pain in the foot is a 09/10 right now.

other fixation options are anchors or spiked washers which are simple and work well.

the talonavicular joint is likely more important than using the first metatarsal base as a reference point. More accurately the first cuneiform is just distal to the navicular. One should want decent coverage of the talar head medially. Maintenance of initial preoperative outline needs to be remembered....

Try to give yourself some rest. Usually this extra bone swelling will go away

Diya Gupta in most cases it is not long recovery. So you can walk immediately after surgery. The exact time for full recovery varies between patients but in general it is very short

Muhammed Salim an osteochondroma (not sure if u still are wondering but I had one) is a benign (non cancerous) tumor. It is in simplest terms, as extra lump of bone. If it is causing u pain and keeps u from doing stuff u should see a doctor but if u aren’t fully grown there is a possibility it won’t hurt when u are

@@ajaykumarchoudhary9031 It can help with the pain. But I would not recommend it for more than one or two weeks. The best thing is shoe modification (meaning using wide shoes that does not irritate the extra bone)
