One of the most underrated actors in Hollywood. He is aware of what is going on which is what you cannot say about mostly everyone in the Hollywood industry.

Oh my fucking lord!!! He's so much more than an amazing actor! He's an amazing, kind hearted, brilliant intellectual. I fell in love with him all over again.

What a pragmatic and, yet, emotional view of "things as they are." Pretty cool. I don't often care what a celebrity thinks, especially an actor, but this fellow.....good on him.
and i thought i couldnt love viggo any more then i already did. how wrong i was ! thank you for this.

Yep I've known about his view etc for a long time you should get one of his books with his poetry and art which is my job and he's good. Some of his photography on his own press Percival Press and on Amazon and if you've never seen Indian Runner and the 2 faces of January and of course Eastern Promises which I'm sure you have but if you haven't do and his foreign language films which he speaks fluently as you know and Far from Men in which he has to speak in French which he is fluent in but with an eastern dialect. As you can tell I'm a huge fan of his!!

When I say a huge fan that's a bit of an understatement I love him since Portrait of a Lady 1997 and of course when I saw him again in Lord of the Rings as Aragorn/Strider I fell in love with him ( I'm lucky my partner is pretty understanding and has admitted he's good) I just remember thinking that I just saw his eyes with his cloak hood up and a burning pipe and I said to my friend I like him and then remembered his face from the film mentioned above and I saw it a couple more times and took another friend and said there's someone in this that I really like and she saw just his eyes as well and said to me is that the one and of course I said yes she said he was my type but she never got the films sadly... I definitely think that's enough from me!

'Viggo Mortensen, you knew The Pope?'. Anyone else's name and it would have been a joke, but magic Viggo, yeah I can see that happening somehow. Something likeL 'We used to read poetry together for a brief time in Italy, I actually suggested to him first that he should run for Pope........'

Democracy is just the cover for tyranny. If we can not question democracy then we are not true democrats. Everyone born into our democracy believes liberalism to be self apparent and self evident, it only makes sense because they grow up in an ever increasingly liberal society. Freedom itself it not an ideal. And if we can not question this inability to restrain ourselves, how can we move forward in constructive and harmonious ways?
