I can’t understand any parents, allowing their children to have anything to do, with him or is wife, in respect of the substance and alcohol abuses. He has spoken and written about it, so parents must be aware of it. It’s very easy to get a visit, when they can put on this persona of being friendly and caring for a short period of time. It’s not about a short pop in visit, where they fawn over parents and the children, it’s about how they behave normally in their everyday life. If taking drugs and alcohol is OK with the parents, it wouldn’t be my choice. I wouldn’t want my children within a 10 mile radius of them. These charities need to put on their sensible head and due to his own confessions, is he a fit person to hold a patronage to any charity for children. He is not the same man, he was before meeting his wife, or maybe he was this man and we just didn’t see it. My personal belief is that children are his target on his mission to curb, free speech and many other things. I think the duo have taken the view, that whilst they are the future, they are the easiest people to manipulate, along with their parents, who are taken in by them. My granddaughter is 20 days younger than Invisablet and we can see that she is a bright girl but honestly curating recipes is a bit beyond a 3 year old. Going to do Baking With Grandma at the weekend, we are making mincepies to kick off Christmas and I can guarentee she will be more interested in rolling out the pastry, cutting out stars and eating the pies. Making memories for her and ourselves, Grandad helps Mum and Dad decorate the tree and taste tests the pies. This what a 3 year old should doing, having fun with their families whatever shape or form they are.

I was babysitting my 5 and 8 yr old grandchildren. The 8 yr old knows Santa is make belief but pretends to believe because she doesnt want to spoil the magic for her brother. He very much believes. I read them 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' and the 5 yr old said.... "I really love Santa, Nana". So sweet! 😊

Something that would be funny, and sort of poetic justice, is if in like 15 to 20 years down the line we get an Oprah or Spare style tell-all from Archie and Lily about what was it like growing up having Meghan and Harry as parents. My son at four wanted every scrap of information about whatever subject in which he was interested. He tripped me up several times about Santa. He finally told me to stop lying to him!! So I said that he was right. Then I told him about Saint Nicolas, who lived in Turkey in the fourth century. He was very happy to know that the fictional character of Santa was based on a real person.

I can't imagine that a child who has lost a parent would be over the moon with joy at the "opportunity" to submit a question for Harry to screen so that he can talk about what it is like to be a "Prince". That's really sad. Life can be really hard. It's something really special to see the magic of Christmas on their little faces on Christmas morning. I don't know of one single child that grew up disapproving of being duped by anyone over this. It's also a huge ask for such a young child to keep this to themselves and to not spoil things for others. I would be furious if my own children's childhoods had been ruined by someone in this way.

My eight year old granddaughter recently succumbed to her friend's rants about Santa not being real, and her mother was devastated. Her sweet questions to her mom, " do you and dad eat the cookies, who answers my letters to Santa" just broke her heart. After a long heartfelt explanation and a video about Saint Nicholas, my granddaughter stated that when she's a mom, she's going to continue the tradition of Santa Claus ❤
