Forty-six-year-old Sarah Boone attended a hearing on Monday morning where the court discussed the future of the trial. Boone had previously asked for representation after she previously went through 8 attorneys, which the judge later denied saying she now has to represent herself. Boone was seen getting frustrated at the fact that she has to represent herself and said in the hearing, “I don’t know what I’m doing.” Trial for Boone is set to start October 7th. She's accused of second degree murder after trapping her boyfriend in a suitcase.

Florida woman Sarah Boone is accused of killing her boyfriend after she allegedly zipped him up inside a suitcase and left him to die. Jorge Torres Jr. suffocated to death inside Boone’s Winter Park home. Boone claims they were playing hide-and-seek, she forgot he was inside the suitcase, and she fell asleep. Video evidence from the night of Torres Jr.’s death shows the victim inside the suitcase yelling for help while Boone records the video and laughs. Boone called 911 the next day saying her boyfriend was dead. She was arrested for second-degree murder.

She won’t even acknowledge that, though, and claims the judge is the one who made that decision for her because she refuses to take any accountability for her own attitude & actions-all of which she was warned numerous times about that if she continued on acting in the way she was then her having to be pro se was a very real possibility. This is why the judge has been so patient with her & given her so many chances already with the list of lawyers she’s gone through-because he knows full well what a nightmare she’s going to be representing herself in court. Nothing makes this woman happy, she’s impossible to please, takes no accountability for her own actions whatsoever, and is delusional thinking she’s the victim in this case. the presumption of innocence is the foundation of the justice system. if the judge believes this, it's his ethical duty to recuse. i know it seems silly given the evidence, but the judge must come in completely neutral, assuming there may be an explanation for any evidence he's already aware of; so if he said that, he would get booted off this case immediately lmao. legally, this absolute clown who drunkenly murdered her fiancé is innocent.

She is still accused, she pleads not-guilty, but she is not "innocent". She'll either be found guilty or not-guilty of each charge.
