“It exposed things that he did not want the public to know”, so yes, Christine is right, it shed light on his abuse. None of this would have happened if he was a good person, starting with his coworkers filing a complaint and going to Jeff in the first place.
@christinecaronnabeard13692 ай бұрын
@@johndough23I understand why you say that but the prosecutor was spelling out for the jury what Rob’s motive was for the murder. Jeff’s articles flowed from Rob’s own professional and personal misconduct so, but for Rob’s criminal and unethical behaviors, Jeff would never have written about Rob and might still be alive today. Sad but true.

My grading of the closing arguments: Prosecuting attorney Pam Weckerly, Grade: A ....She gave a solid closing argument. Extremely well done. Defense attorney Robert Draskovich: Grade B+... C'mon, he had nothing to work with but made an excellent closing. (The first question from the jury while deliberating was how can they zoom in on videos? Recall that Draskovich zoomed in on two videos showing the killer's profile with a full head of hair and a profile dissimilar to Robert Telles'.) Chief Deputy District Attorney Christopher Hamner: A+... Outstanding, powerful. He nailed it and hopefully, the jury will nail Telles.

Why grade the attorney's? Like this is a movie and you're leaving a review of the actors. Maybe you walk through life placing judgement on people and thinking strangers care what you think, which explains everything! The entitlement is real with some people.
@ChuckRosseel28 күн бұрын
@@LakeGirl24 It's one of the great options KZbin affords viewers, the comment section. You did the same when you wrote your comment. You are a stranger who presumably placed "judgment" on me with the hope that other "strangers" care what you think. I don't have any issues with you feeling entitled to do so. I also used the KZbin thumbs up or thumbs down option. It's freedom of expression and I love it. Whether fair or not, people always judge other folks' actions, behaviors, and words to some degree. It's a natural and necessary part of the human condition. It's not a movie, it's real life. Lawyers are tested and judged in law school, on the bar exam, in the courtroom, and in public. It's a good thing.

@@LakeGirl24 I was sorry to learn that you have difficulty with reading comprehension. I have simplified my "wall of words" to help you understand my comment: People like to share their opinions in KZbin comments, and you did the same with yours. You don't mind others judging what you say because it's part of being free to express yourself. Everyone judges each other, and that's normal and important for understanding life. Like lawyers get judged in many ways, it's a good and necessary thing for everyone.

Concerning the shadowy profile supposedly not matching Telles by showing the driver had hair on his head: Light and shadow can do strange things to a perceived object or person depending on the angle it's viewed from. As an example, people claim that they see faces and pyramids on Mars, until the same area is viewed from a different angle and the truth is revealed. What looks like hair on the profile could be something as simple as a pair of sunglasses resting on the head, or a cap, or even NOTHING but a simple trick of light and shadow. There is an extremely large amount of evidence in this case that points the finger at Telles as the murderer. A blurry, shadowy profile is not evidence to the contrary.

I don't think that that's hair that they are trying to prove, I believe it was those weird ass eyebrows blowing around 😂

Why was this fool shaking his head "No" when she said he was stabbing that man on the video footage

My goodness. That is a damning closing argument by the prosecution.

Have you ever heard of Google? Curious. You could simply find out, all by yourself, instead of waiting for strangers to respond.

If a defendant wants a mistrial and decides to try and get it by attacking the jury physically, do y’all think the judge will grant a mistrial?

He’s sitting there shaking his head like an 8 ball, like he’s gonna get a magic answer if he just keeps bobbling away. What a douche.

Such a great rebuttal closing. The only point I wish they had pointed out was that framing him for murder (instead of killing him) would have the very obvious result of bringing wayyy more light on it lol

That reporter believed so much in the cause he was willing to be the sacrificial lamb. Man it's sad it took thousands of people and millions of dollars and someone dying to take down telles. 😂😂 what was he smoking when he told his attorney that this is his defense? 😵💫

Doesn’t mean they haven’t made a decision already. It’s better they take their time in order to reduce any future chances of appeal.

I’ve said this in every section of this trial, no sense stopping now!.......Mr. Telles appears SO shady, I wouldn’t trust him if he were my lawyer. And no one can help what God gave them for “looks”, but you don’t have to make it worse! His scalp skin is stretched tighter than a bongo Drum, then the line of delineation to forehead is extremely wrinkled. Looks don’t make the person. But he just plain LOOKS MEAN. One of his female employees said Telles would “go off” over the smallest thing! He berated his staff and sometimes would speak to you, sometimes not. He had a favorite in the office. He’s a braggart and a narcissist. None of these makes him a murderer, but have no doubt - Telles seems like he would do just about anything to “win” his side. Very strange looking, almost Alien in appearance.......I believe he’s guilty because of the ridiculous “story” he came up with to cover his A _ _!

This wall of words is the prime example of toxic positivity. "No one can help what God gave them for looks BUT" proceeds to rant on and on about their looks. What the fuck? The entitlement is real with one. 1 sentence about the actual trial WHICH IS THE VIDEO WE'RE WATCHING.

IN MY VIEW Last I heard you have to be careful showing emotions responding to testimony against you. This guys responses were over the top!

This case was one of the best examples of an incredibly stupid person who is narcissistic enough to think he’s smart. It’s great to be able to witness that level of a lack of self awareness. Making those faces and shaking your head the whole time will make you even more unlikeable to the jury, who already don’t like you after witnessing your smugness for two days of a NARRATIVE testimony… so so SO grateful this moron thought he knew better than actual criminal defense attorneys…
