Llistening to Jeremy Jones commentate, is so educational as to how the game of pool should be played. He hands out a lot of precise tips on how to make a good shot likewise how to prepare a good preparation for the next shot. He is so precise with his analysis and ideas as to how the game should be played. Salute Mr JJ..

Sometimes, I out-guess him. It makes me feel so smart! 😎 I've turned the volume off, a few times, so I could think for myself, then played it back to listen to his thoughts. I've learned that I can TALK a pretty darned good game, but... you know. 😒 (I can NEVER guess how Filler's going to play a shot. If I guess draw, he follows, if I guess jump, he kicks, etc.)

dominated one of the worlds best players. This is down to his mental strength - great mechanics and fearless approach. Decisive, focused and plays with that same authority no matter the opponent. His body language is also spot on and doesnt deviate whatever the match scoreline.

But it can come off as very very very arrogant alot of times. But after listening to what he had to say in that interview I do have a better view of him. I wonder what the other pro players opinions of him are? He could be a great guy but just comes off like that over the t.v. and not be that way at all. He's definitely a great player.

The worlds best snooker player (Ronnie O) wouldn't win 8, 9, or 10 ball tournaments vs the top players... Similarly, those same 8, 9, and 10 ball players would get destroyed in snooker vs any of the top snooker players.
@MisterColumbo Жыл бұрын
Watch the bigfoot classic from derby city. It's about as close as you will get. Also it's a surprisingly different game. There are shots you just don't use in snooker as well as the use of side spin being so prolific in rotation that makes it just different enough that players struggle to be top top tier at both.

I feel the same about Gorst tbh. He's a fantastic player, don't get me wrong, but, he's no Shane, Shaw, Orcollo, Pagulayan, Cheng etc. etc... I do believe he has the natural talent to get there, But let's be real, the few I mentioned came to public eye already an absolute monster with a TIGHT top tier game. It seems to me for whatever reason Gorst came to the scene a level below top tier and is having to learn the final few techniques and tighten up his game while already being out in front of the masses. I don't think he's ready to play with the top 10 quite yet.
