@JokersWild705 жыл бұрын
@@FiendishlyDelightedSefto IF any demos DO exist, we will never hear them. I do agree that "Back in Black" most likely had a lot of Bon's lyrics that may or may not have been complete songs. Perhaps they used some of his lines, and built the songs around his themes, and added some of their own lines. Since Bon's family gets a share of the royalties from "Back in Black", that right there tells me that he was definitely involved. They Young's certainly aren't going to hand over money just because they feel generous. If Ian Jeffrey, who supposedly still has all of Bon's lyric books, would let someone take a look at them, then we could settle this once and for all, but since he won't, it seems like there is something to hide.

Bon Scott wasn't just a great frontman but he was one great showman because everytime he stepped on stage and had the mic in his hands he brought down the house with his powerful voice. Just go search some of his live performances and you'll see what I'm talking about and compare him to Brian Johnson's live performances and you'll see Bon Scott was untouchable he was head and shoulders above Dave Evans, Brian Johnson, and Axl Fat Bastard Rose.

This song has some of Bon's best lyrics ever, IMO. The picture he paints is very visceral and chilling. It puts me in an alleyway in London, late 1800's, with a soupy white gray mist in the air, gas lamp lights trying desperately to push back the dark, and a dank cold that chills you to the bone. You're afraid to move, not knowing which way to go, sensing that there's someone very close who's there to do you harm, and although you squint your eyes trying to see thru the fog, you can't find where they're at. Fucking great imagery in those lyrics.

Yes this is the last song on the Highway to Hell but that doesn’t mean it is the last song he recorded, it could have been one of the other songs on the album. @@klown839 Of course not. Just like when Judas Priest were taken to court, nothing was proven. The immense majority of people who like this song don't go on to murder anyone. It's hardly new anyway: it goes as far back as the Beatles' Helter Skelter; but not even the overtly direct lyrics of Ice T's Cop Killer sparked a flurry of such actions.

Lyrics: Somewhere a clock strikes midnight And there's a full moon in the sky You hear a dog bark in the distance You hear someone's baby cry A rat runs down the alley And a chill runs down your spine And someone walks across your grave And you wish the sun would shine 'Cause no one's going to warn you And no one's going to yell, "Attack!" And you don't feel the steel Till it's hanging out your back I'm your night prowler, asleep in the day Night prowler, get out of my way Yeah, I'm the night prowler, watch out tonight Yes, I'm the night prowler, when you turn out the light Too scared to turn your light out 'Cause there's something on your mind Was that a noise outside the window? What's that shadow on the blind? As you lie there naked Like a body in a tomb Suspended animation As I slip into your room I'm your night prowler, asleep in the day Yeah, I'm the night prowler, get out of my way Look out for the night prowler, watch out tonight Yes, I'm the night prowler, when you turn out the light I'm your night prowler, asleep in the day Yes, I'm the night prowler, get out of my way Look out for the night prowler, watch out tonight Yes, I'm the night prowler, when you turn out the light I'm your night prowler (break down your door) I'm your night prowler (crawlin' 'cross your floor) I'm the night prowler (make a mess of you) Yes, I will Night prowler And I'm tellin' this to you There ain't nothin' There ain't nothin' Nothin' you can do "Shazbot, nanu nanu"
