This ac5 is pretty damn good on the ps4. I hope they do the same with AC zero. You can get it through jailbreak and homebrew but it doesn't look like this...

If you compare then please use the best cable possible. PS2 version looks as clear as PS4 (but with lover resolution) if you use RGB cable instead composite or S-video.

I've heard licensing issues prevent them from SELLING the game without having to pay extra royalties for each plane in the game. However since they aren't technically selling this version (including it as a preorder bonus) they get around that.

The PS4 graphicsa look just like what i emulate on PCSX2 and you know that means its good. most likely uses an emulation itself inside the ps4 very well done on there part just wish theyd release something like that on the PS4 as a base game on steam of all the original ace ombat PS2 era games. itd make us AC fans alot happier doesnt have to be a remake just a very accesible one and we dopnt have to jump koops to emulate it.

Namco owns the original keys of this game so is not difficult for them to remaster it. i don't think this running by emulation

​@@HUB594nothing can run PS2 natively apart from a ps2 or the first run of PS3 phat 60gb because they have the PS2 chip in them. Everything else is emulated

The best way to get this game now is buying AC7 Deluxe on the EU region PS Store. I bought it a few days ago on sale, it works 100%, even tho there is no mention of it on the store page. I believe that the sale will be active until April 1st.

I’d be more interested to see how the graphics compare to running the PS2 game on a backwards compatible PS3 captured with HDMI vs the PS4 version. The PS2 footage here was clearly captured with an analog composite device to make the comparison more different between the two.

AC5 on my 60GB PS3 doesn't look as good as the PS4 version. I'd rather play AC5 on a PS2 and CRT than on a PS3 and HDTV via HDMI.
