My favorite torch. but like the Lattice LED more in this model. its like a powder white light no blue tint. 4300lm / 570m of throw, 100m more throw then the cree.

If they update it with XHP70.3 90CRI it could be a perfect light. Wish they would bring back the old K series lights with some new emitters.

I think the tint was going for more of an old school krypton bulb look maybe? Tint of like old school maglites..don't own l35 just guessing.

Do you have any idea what the difference is, I heard the old one locks out automatically. I really like the tint on this one, scared the 2.0 is cool or something

​​​@@ShouldaWavedthe 2.0 is compleatly different mate, i loved the 1.0 but the new version is for much longer range (old 460m, new 650m), and yes the beam is much more white, it is probably like 5500k-6000k but the 1.0 was more like 4000k not the 5000k as acebeam stated as it is very orange. No auto lockout mode on the 1.0 though, they both operate the exact same, but the deal breaker for me on the 2.0 is the artifacts in the hotspot, looks like a complete downgrade overall... the black finish looks mean and tactical but the beam colour is just not what the people who loved the 1.0 wanted

The Acebeam L18 is a perfect torch to use with the L35.

Does the instruction booklet have a typo?..it doesnt make sense that high runtime is only 1hr 30min and turbo is 1hr 15 min..high only gaining 15 extra minutes isnt making any sense at all im thinking typo and its suppose to be 2hr 30 min..that would make more sense?..thank you.
