Please make a comparison of the first version of the fenix ht18 that had an xhp35 led with the update of the ht18 that now has an sft40 led, it would be interesting to see if there are differences. Excellent review.

I prefer the sharpness of detail created by the whiter Fenix light. (I see there is now an R version of the Fenix.)

L19 Has a lot of peripheral light whereas the HT18 has a clean spill area. Both reach a long way

It depends on what kind of spill you want. I cannot recommend something for you if I don't know what kind of light you need. If you want a clear cut off spill then go the fenix. But if you want peripheral light without a clear spill area then go the Acebeam. Both will reach similar distances@@user-vi2xp3bk8u

I am sick and tired of the nylon holsters. Premium lights should come with a polymer or kydex holster lens down. They need to also mount to MOLLE webbing.
