i bought this realy great looking,feeling(typing),fantastic Chromebook last week. The nice small edges of the bright clear screen,the long battery time,nice strereospeakers,but i'm using a compact JBL Bleutooth speaker for an even better,more bass sound. The price i payed 243 euro"s from the most wellknown webstore here in The Netherlands. Photo's in the Android One 100GB cloud,think over 3000 photo's since 2005 i made by my many camphones over the years. A perfect Chromebook !

I have this Chromebook. It is charged but the screen will not come on. I've looked at several videos, this used there first one like i have. Other sites day to turn off and back on. Where is that button???? Is that where the 🔒 is,??? I would appreciate s response. Greatly appreciate.

Hi, did you figure it out yet? I went through the same thing, but I realised fairly soon after that I had to press the power button (on the left side of the Chromebook.

Look forward to seeing what you do with your Chromebook. As you work in an educational environment you probably have a lot of experience of how teachers can use Chromebooks. I use mine with my MacBook when carrying out zoom calls. Using a Camlink, or an ATEM Mini that I recently, purchased, I use the hdmi output to input the Chromebooks screen into Zoom or OBS on my Mac. This works the other way too, I can import my Mac screen into the Chromebook for Zoom out Google Meet. The Camlink let's me connect other video sources to the Chromebook to; cameras, Chromecast, Apple TV, iPad, DeX on my Samsung phones etc. You will be surprised just how much you can do with a Chromebook.

No You never need anti-virus with a chromebook because Google actually is constantly sending you upgrades and monitioring for viruses. Chromebooks are safer than anyting out there!

@@thebookofchrome Be careful when buying budget Chromebooks, Google give support for about 6 years from the date the Chromebook was first sold and then the updates stop. My Toshiba has stopped getting updates which is why I might be looking at getting a newer model.

The speaker are okay, they are not amazing but good enough. Mainly been using to the chromebook to surf the web and play around a bit

This is a great deal for chromebook with those specs in that price range . Do note that the ryzen processor does throttle performance if it is not plugged in to the charger . That's why I prefer intel i3 11 gen processors and up because they don't throttle performance if it's plugged in or not and they are really damn fast. Always ask yourself what you will use this for.

it is not your internet connection, probably, it is the processor-cores-memory etc. i have trouble with 4k with 1 gig internet and a cheapo celeron 4125 and no trouble with 25 mhz internet and stronger processor, celeron 5105. have 5 chromebooks...love them.
