If you are color grading professionally then the monitor is just shy of the color coverage needed for the industry but as video editor the experience of the desk real estate resolution was fantastic and I did enjoy using it for video editing.

VESA MOUNT , What size bolts do you use?

Standard ones which monitors normally came with. The screws for the Vesa Mount are included in this Acer monitor, it is a separate bag in the box =).

Do you know the size of the standoff screws? Bought my monitor second hand and want to mount it with VESA but don't have the spacer screws @@BsianTech

Hi, do you still have this monitor? Wondering what steps you took with the MacBook? Reading on some forums, it sounds like the m1 is capable of displaying 5120 x 1440 but just not over HDMI, you need a usb c > DisplayPort cable. If you still have it, any chance you could please re-test? I'm keen on this monitor but I need it to work with both PC and Mac, and since this seems to only be sold here in Aus, there is next to no reviews or information >< Thanks!

Hi @Mark Taylor, afraid I no longer have this monitor with my anymore, it has been returned back to Acer for the next person to have a look at this monster monitor. So unfortuntely I am unable to test the Macbook using USB-C to DP adapter.

I don’t have this monitor but I have a Samsung one with the same resolution. My M1 MacBook Air can display 5120 x 1440 with a usb c to DisplayPort cable.

Dear Sir,I have one question, if I connect my office laptop one side of this monitor where i don't have permission to install anything on it and on other side if I connect my personal laptop, then can i use single mouse with USB receiver connected to monitor to handle both my office and personal laptop screen ?

Hi @IT GUY, this Acer 49 inch monitor unfortunetley doesn't have a USB Hub built into this monitor so you won't be able to connect your USB mouse receiver to it, it is one of the improvements I have suggested to Acer. The question about not having permission to install anything on your office laptop and still have it display but would make it your secondary display rather than have it plugged it as primary.

@@BsianTech I think having 49 inch would definitely increase my productivity both in learning or working on office tasks, but yes, a monitor should have capability of display two different PC input on screen side by side and only one mouse and keyboard should handle both PC on same screen, which other monitor does so? Any details?

I bought Acer 49 inch ultrawide,, within 2 months it has a problem , even thouhgh I only use a litle just to testing my forex indicator,,, this monitor cannot start and return to store which I bought it, and than return for warranty to its supplier. Its is very annoying with this monitor.. I will never bought tihis Acer brand in the future..

Focking VA matrix! No , thank you! I would better buy 2 acer predator Monitors with perfect IPS matrix 144Hz and it will cost me 800$ - its twice less.
