I’ve always LOVED this groove and always will! Another of his grooves and my favorite of his is “Passion.” Sadly underrated.. 🙂💜👍✌️

Rod has had a long career & his style has spanned many different genres of music. His Hot Legs is very fun as well.

rod was not about disco but ironically it was his biggest hit ....he definitly capitilized on the disco popularity...but his rock legacy is legendary

Rod Stewart is one of my favorite singers. I still have several of his albums, cassettes & CDs & play them quite often. Tonights the Night, Forever Young, Rythm of my Heart, Hot Legs.......

Disco Stewart! "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy?" was a massive hit for Rod Stewart in 1978 and 1979. The Rolling Stones released "Miss You" earlier that year and they were buddies, so this was his turn on the dance floor so to speak. When you're ready for more from Rod Stewart also check out "Gasoline Alley", "Mandolin Wind", and "Every Picture Tells a Story".

I guess you could keep the youth theme going with Rod's "Hot Legs," "Passion," and "Young Turks." Also, from earlier in his career, "Stay With Me" and "(I Know) I'm Losing You." For even more hits by Rod Stewart, "You Wear It Well," "Tonight's the Night," "You're In My Heart," "Some Guys Have All The Luck," "People Get Ready," "Every Beat of My Heart," "Forever Young," "Rhythm of My Heart," "It's A Heartache."

My senior year of high school, fond memories 🥰 Rod Stewart music was a big part of my high school years. Dancing away to him at our school dances.

N-Trance featuring Rod Stewart was a brilliant version in 1997. And you get a bonus of Ricardo da Force with his rap 😊

It came out at the height of the disco era. The Rolling Stones also did a disco song that was a big hit in Miss You. While a lot of rock n rollers were very anti disco, they missed out because disco was good fun.

Don’t be surprised when you hear songs from an artist that don’t sound alike. They were versatile. Today there are Rappers and Hip Hop performers. I don’t think they do any other genre, but maybe I’m wrong because I don’t listen to very much of it.

still have this on a 46rpm single, the vinyl album and had it on an 8-track, that I got rid of because it clicked over tracks in the middle of songs 🤬

Saw him in concert back in the day. Great show. He kicked soccer balls into the crowd. Started one song, made the band stop and start over. He wanted more energy😊 Wish everyone got a chance to see him live.

It is Rock, but leans heavy into a funky discoish groove. The ladies loved Rod & the men were jealous of his androgeny & spread many unsavory rumors regarding his love life.
