Another catch and cook of something new in Brazil. I think I'm going to fish my way through this country and try every single freshwater fish they have! After realizing how tasty these fish are, it made me realize that eating aquarium fish isn't entirely out of the question. I calmly said to him, sir I have been fishing here longer then you have lived in my hometown. He was a tourist! Well while he was yelling and going off his amazing old wife was on the phone with the cops. lol So yup people in the States out calling the police for everything nowadays.

The little fish are called Jurupari's and yes they're a preferred aquarium tank fish. Why? They're gregarious, they can be trained, and they build underwater forts.

They are some kind of Geophagus. Means "earth eater". Some kinds of geophagus can get 10-12 inches. They are a popular aquarium fish. Thats cool you're just catching them off a dock! They sell for $15 to $30 in fish stores!🤣
