This person takes no accountability for their social media content. Just because the videos are old does not mean that people still can't see them! It would be one thing if this person worked an office job, or even a firefighter - basically any job that doesn't involve children. I'm not trans, but I changed my name as an adult. Both first and last. I always hated my birth name and had nicknames from a really young age. As for the last name, I have no connection with that whole side of the family, and my biological father chose not to be around. Now I have a unique name that I love, and the only one I use my birth name around is my 90 year old Oma because it's easier for her. It was a crazy awesome feeling when my Mum started addressing birthday and Christmas cards with my chosen name. She still messes up from time to time, but I never correct her. People who change their names just have to understand that it takes time for everyone else to adjust.

Being a substitute teacher is a pretty smart career choice. In most states, you can be an emergency sub (can't be booked to substitute the class more than 24hrs in advance) with any bachelor's degree. Subs get paid as much as fulltime teachers, and you can choose when/where you work. It's a good way to utilize whatever degree you have if you're in between careers, burnt out and need a change, or need a super flexible schedule.
