@@misxfitxyeah the sustainer of heavenly principles is Herrscher of Void Kiana which makes me wonder if she was always like that. Also I just had a thought. Assuming the sustainer is one of the four shades, what if the other shades are other versions of Kiana (regular and the other Herrscher versions) or other Kaslanas as the four shades were all made by the primordial one from itself. But istg Hoyo loves separating Kiana and Raiden way too much in every possible universe. I wonder if they love doing that more than killing off Himeko lol.

@@crammothy I was thinking about this too. If the are "shades" of the primordial one, they should all look like it, and thus look like each other. If the artifact ---> shade theory is correct, then we are still missing the shade of life and shade of death, while the authority of the primordial one would be reason. But I'm really hoping that Istaroth will be a HoFi Kiana variant. After all, her authority is over time, she already helped Raidens a few times, and Venti, who is somehow connected to her, is associated with Cecilia flowers (from above, Cecilia flowers look just like the symbol of the Schariac house)

If the Shades all look like Kiana which is a theory based on the assumption that the Sustainer we know is also one of the Shades and the fact that she looks like Kiana, then there's another theory saying that Istaroth, the God of Time is also one of the Shades. That would explain why Ei and Makoto had a serious liking to Istaroth and were granted their Time bending powers. Also, Monstadt and Venti are heavily tied in with Istaroth so basically it's another Wendy and Kiana situation.

This is speculation but could this be related to Himeko? I read that in HI3, Himeko died. Not sure if there's anything significant that will happen to her in HSR but if it does, i don't think my heart is ready. Subconsciously we've forged a bond with the astral express crew and losing 1 member is akin to losing a part of yourself. I pray that day never comes but after reading what everyone said here...idk man.

Even though the Hi3 Mei recap wasn't entirely accurate and was missing many parrelels to Acheron, such as the Herrscher of Origin originally being an anomaly in the System of Honkai that shouldn't have existed, it covers enough of the basics to get the point across. Also, Kiana didn't win against Kevin 1v1. She had lots of help, and it took higher dimensional beings (The Players) from across the entire Imaginary Tree to take him down, breaking the 4th wall in the process, as Finality in Hi3 is essentially the Honkai Verse version of "God." The Cocoon of Finality is similar to an Aeon. Kiana is it's equal and represents it in physical form, as the CoF by nature transcends all dimensions and can manipulate conceptual laws at will, so it needs a vessal to interact with reality. The Herrscher of Finality is similar to Aeons in the sense that all other Herrschers derived from it and are but mere shadows in comparison to it. All other Herrschers are the equivalent of Emanators of Finality/End. Basically, the previous era Herrscher of Finality, aka the Herrscher of the End, was a puppet/vessal for the Cocoon of Finality itself. Because Kiana ascended to Godhood and took over its authority, the power can now be controlled directly by her instead of the CoF itself. The only reason Kiana got the authority to begin with is because the authority of Origin allowed Mei to reach the dimension in which the CoF was residing. Just Fyi, the difference between Herrschers and Aeons is that Aeons are bound by paths and cannot deviate from what concept they embody, while Herrschers manipulate conceptual laws and aren't bound to anything, even able to evolve over time. Some Herrschers are natural born deities, and others ascend to become a Herrscher similar to how people in HSR ascended to become Aeons. Also, unlike the 12 Sentinels that were split into two wielders in Acheron's story, Raiden Mei had an authority that allowed Herrschers to fight for humanity rather than the Honkai. And I know you didn't go into detail when it comes to the Honkai, but the goal of the Honkai isn't just to destroy human civilization but to evolve it through trial and error. If it wanted humanity gone, it would be. Finality has the authority of every single Herrscher minus Origin, so 13 different Herrscher authorities, including Finality, which is complete control over time across the Hi3 universe. The 12 Sentinels are supposed to parrelel the 12 Divine/god Keys, which were weapons fashioned from previous era Herrschers that were killed off by an organization known as Fire Moth/The Flamechasers, of which Kevin was the leader. Each Divine Key held an authority, and one of those 12 Divine Keys, The Star of Eden, is currently in the possession of Welt, who has crafted it into his cane. It was his main weapon back when he was the Herrscher of Reason, before he lost his Herrscher authority and status when Kiana sealed away 99% of the Honkai on the moon. This is probably why Acheron was familiar with the blackhole Welt can create, because there was something similar on her home world in the form of a Sentinel. Obviously, they are only parrelels and shouldn't be compared from a lore perspective, but the parrelels do still exist, even if there are some differences. The Samsara theme is something that's present throughout both Hi3 and Genshin, and we will probably see more of it in HSR later on. There's so so many connections and parrelels to Hi3 that HSR has I could go into, but I'll leave it there for now, as this is already long enough. Hope this helped clear some things up for you. 6:55, Raiden Ei did not hide in the Plane of Euthymia, she went there to prevent erosion, a state which erodes a being's capability to think rationally and NOT to avoid her responsibilities as the nation's archon. She even devised a plan that she also utilized which is to make a puppets resulting to Scaramouche and Raiden Shogun to rule Inazuma while her consciousness inhibits the sword, a talent that Yae Miko taught her. This way, she can protect Inazuma and her people like how she thought it would be best.

You forgot the original Raiden Mei that is from Houkai Gakuen (GGZ). Well the global server has been shutdown so cannot play it anymore. But that game created the original characters of the Honkaiverse with the exception of Kiana (since she was created in the FlyMe2theMoon which is the first game that miyoho develop).

TLDR; Acheron being the emanator of Nihiilty in HSR and Raiden Mei being the Herscherr of Origin (her final and most powerful form) in HI3 might have some relation to each other. Could the black hole or IX itself embody the concept of 'Origin'? I know that they literally embody Nihility, but if true Nihility is absolute nothingness then isn't that just how the universe was born? At first there was nothing, absolute silence in the universe and then the big bang happened for some unknown reason (an anomaly of sorts) leading to the birth of matter and then the universe kept on infinitely expanding. That was the ORIGIN of the universe itself. This is more of a real world scientific theory lol but Star Rail is literally based on the real world so there's that. And the Nihility is also how everything ends too, so the Aeon of Finality might be tied with Nihility in some way too. Since Nanook is literally trying to destroy everything, he's naive to the fact that at the end, they will get destroyed themselves whether it is because of Qlipoth, another Aeon or the Trailblazer with the help of their friends, or if they truly win and destroy our MCs and the other Aeons then IX will be waiting to suck them in at the end lmao. This true end to everything that even Acheron mentions in the story when she mentions that death isn't supposed to be the saddest thing and that we shouldn't be so afraid of it, which is why she helped Tiernan and all the other dead souls pass on to the afterlife after they were transformed into phantoms. I believe that once the current universe ends, the birth of another is bound to happen which simply means the birth of new life and endless possibilities, so the Black Hole of nothingness might just be the Origin of everything too.

I believe the one Acheron lost was her version of "Kevin/Kiana" weilding the blade of End. I feel that Acheron's fate among the Meiverse is more tragic than her counterparts because she had to end him by her own hands, making her plunge more deeper into despair, into Nihlity. Perhaps this loss, this huge void in her self, made IX gaze at her of a second and granted her Emanator powers. Perhaps she gained the title "Self Annihilator" due to the fact that she herself annihilated her only friend.

It's somewhat explained how Acheron became an emanator actually: IX is the Aeon of not just Nihility but Futility/Pointlessness, the one thing Acheron did that nobody else in history that we know of HAS, is challenge IX. There is nothing more Nihilistic in IX's eyes than someone believing that Nihility as a concept is pointless. Not only does she challenge Nihility but it has become her mission to deliver others out of Nihility's grasp as well. To top it off, she's succeeded to an extent as well, she's not just an Anomaly, she's a Contradiction. With her name being Acheron, and going into the lore of the afterlife that relates to, her function is the Boatman of the River Styx. If we take that as a thing, we can also speculate that IX is not in fact Nihilism itself but due to the path it represents it has become Nihility; if we liken IX to Hades, Hades was not evil, he was not an annihilator, he was given a job and he did it, he had no ill will toward those delivered to him, he was not Satan. Yet those delivered to him were not to have an afterlife of bliss, but discontent and suffering, meanwhile the Elysian Fields, an eternally sunny realm of contentment("...until we meet again beneath the sun's rays.") may be what Acheron strives to deliver the universe unto. I don't think Acheron herself is Nihilistic, I think because of her status as Emanator she was cursed by IX to lose bits of herself. Only while touching her Sword can she remember, so perhaps she did have a Kiana, and perhaps that Sword is somehow linked to her Kiana, returning her to her original self; or perhaps it's Star Rail universe's version of a Divine Key, but using the essence of an Emanator instead of a Herrscher, and it's crafted not just with the flesh of the Oni/Kami that was slain, but also with the essence of her Kiana, actually maybe her "forgetting her past" isn't a curse afterall, but a mercy, maybe she did lose her Kiana, and perhaps that's why she sheds a tear every time she draws the blade. and also why she doesn't draw it lightly; she remembers it all when she does. It's both a keepsake and a reminder.

Well herrchers arnt really evil in the present age. The previous era 50,000 years ago Herrchers were killing machines whome eventhough they were sentient their body kill regardless. Untill Elysia was born as a mistake and then became the Herrcher of origin free from the grasp of Finality a being that is also part of finality. Elysia grew up and learned to Love humanity and with her bright and strong personality she was loved by many and she loved all just as much. And so.. To free humanity from the Grasp of Finality and the unending 50,000 years samsara cycle.. She desolved herself and cut off Finality's grasp of Fate do humans can have a free future thereby allowing Herchers to maintain controll of their powers. But humanity was already too late.. So they hid on the moon faught finality and slept in cryo sleep untill finality restarted the world.. So that they could win in the new era. They also took the chance by sacrificing many heroes to plant a will into Honkai so that The herchers could be the same as the Prevous era. And many others. The present era herchers arnt bad.. Just alot of em are childrens whom have experienced horrible things in the hands of others as the world was apocalyptic and basically in a countdown.. Disasters made many people selfish and cruel. And Herrchers are usually born in people under unfortunate situations. So alot hate humans. But those whom are shown love fight for humanity. Also raiden "Evil" Alter ego is not a hercher persona its a stygmata.

Okay so i did a bit of digging after watching the video but, there is a kiana/kevin-variant in hsr world , the white haired oni that was killed by acheron, when both of them were the only remaining people in the planet of izumo. So maybe the reason Acheron embraced nihility os greatly was because she had to kill kevin/kiana by her own hands. (ps, i never played hi3 and started playing hsr only recently. The fact that kevin is a genderbent kiana was also googled)

Little correction hsr worlds that we get through in hsr are basically bubble world and different timelines of the tree ( repeat again in the IMG tree theory script ). Even truer with Acheron when she completely erased her own bubble world letting not even trace of past and future so the timeline of her world.

Acheron and Welt have a long talk in Penacony. Welt relates the story of Kevin from his universe. Acheron admits there was a parellel man... and she killed him (her Kevin parallel)... alone (kiana-less) Check out the Myriad Celestia Trailer - "Kyoden: A Cleave Across the Transient World" for Acheron backstory. Towards the end, she has the blade Origin and the other has The End (like Finality anyone) Kevin was guardian/steward/near-herrscher of Finality in end of HI3 that Kiana/Mei/Bronya had to defeat. Raiden Mei ascended to Herrscher of Origin in HI3. Acheron's story goes one step further than HI3 Raiden.

The issue here is... Ei isn't Mei. The Genshin Expy's are NOT the same characters in the same way the Impact and Star Rail characters are. Just, people that vaguely resemble them. NONE of the Genshin Expy's are the same in this way.

Mavuika is currently Genshins Himeko expy for example, they do several Himeko callbacks with her in her fight with Capitano... but she's not even really 'Himeko' from another universe or something. I remain very curious about how Genshin fits into the whole Mihoyo cosmos since it seems so seperate...
