Yep there's something we forget there's hope ;) my mom who was crying almost every day, looking quite sad all the time and generally quite depressed found a reason to smile all the time, a little dog 🐕 it makes her laugh and I know she will always take care of the dog super good, because it was a very thought choice and she was already taking care so much since a couple of years of the dog of her colleague except that she was not the one bringing it home. Goose, turkey, birds in general are also amazing pets that give a lot of love and laugh

I literally fail to see how a baby swan was considered an "ugly duckling" in the story; it is TOO CUTE
@marioncapriotti1514
@marioncapriotti1514 5 ай бұрын
I think it's because adult birds are SO beautiful, the babies are often considered "so ugly, they're cute." Scrawny little necks, big swollen eyes that aren't open yet, goofy big feet and scruffy feathers -- they sure don't start out as beautiful as they will grow up to be.
@jelly.4125
@jelly.4125 4 ай бұрын
I believe the story is about being judged by the standards of others that someone cannot live up to. the swan was considered ugly because it was being judged by the standards of ducks. the swan learned in the end that it was never ugly- just different! using a creature as beautiful as a swan for this story emphasizes the lesson that anyone will feel defective if they're placed in the wrong environment and judged by the wrong standards. I apologize for responding so late to your initial comment, this was just one of my favorite stories growing up and I like talking about it!

So Cute awww. But that would actually be quite normal in waterfowl. While swans and most types of ducks choose a specific partner to mate with ducks and swans live in flocks and never leave thier flockmates behind. They always stay in the same pond close by. I've even seen different types and species of ducks form friendships between eachother and I've even seen little ducks befriend huge Canada geese and be welcome in thier flock. I'm sure this swan and duck will be best friends swimming and flying together for life, so sweet awww

I remember when I saw your first video years ago. I did lose track for a while with all of the political drama, but I needed a happy break and this fits the bill. I cry when I see how beautiful nature is and how you foster the development of poor, parentless animals. The swan and the duck story would make a beautiful children’s book. Are your daughters interested? I’m so glad you are still here with your beautiful videos. I hope you continue for many years to come.

Awesome! Not many would bother with the so called flying rats but I like them. I usually say hi when I pass near some to get to the bus stop. I also usually add sorry I don't have anything to eat. But last time I had just bought some cereal. So they got a little bit.

Man imagine thinking an infinite hub of the planet's shared information has nothing educational to provide though, that'll never not be wild to me. It's the same as real life, it's not like everything you can experience is equally new and wholesome there either, totally depends on what you're doing.
