I am an eccentric motherfucker. I am 39, ride a BMX bike to work and have the body of Wolverine with the face of Dominic Monighan yet very short at 5 foot 4 but, that 3 mile bike ride to and from work uphill both ways over the past 6 months have given me an amazing physique and people notice me more than ever. All the doubters said I wouldn't last, yet all those bullies who crossed my path always got dealt with. They did't know I was absolutely determined and in it to win it and playing the long game. They always regretted their bad behavior around me.I earned the respect at work over these past 6 months and have grown into a little beast of a man. Now people definitely do not fuck with me. And you are absolutely right, I had a bad go at life early on and landed in prison at 19. Taught me to clean up my act and be a better human being early on in life.

For the first 3, I have to disagree, for myself. As soon as I recognize those people, generally, I disengage as quickly as possible; I don't want to waste any more time or resources on those who are not worth it. I generally won't engage in their games, unless required by a job, etc. I LOVE being underestimated. I do have some pessimists in my life who are part of my family or life-long friends. Only because we are close do they get to stay. I always encourage them to find solutions; I help them find solutions -- complaining gets you nowhere. Otherwise, I disengage from pessimists as soon as I spot them.

I think in general we have a high level of self awareness, but accepting+embracing the dark of our nature can be as difficult to accept with sigmas as it can with everyone else. As much as i refrain from detroying the narcissist+alpha type, when i do i get great pleasure+satisfaction from it. Equally i get the same pleasure+satisfaction from helpin those i wish to, when i can. It is the balance we all face. On a personal level i do enjoy the darker side of my nature more, its a lot easier to maintain.
