Definitely needed to see this. I've just had my pre op for surgery, but still undecided on whether to go for it as I have returned to sport. Having an insight to the world after surgery is really helpful thank you ❤

Oh wow! What sport do you play? Sounds like you must have done a great rehab to have returned to sport without surgery!

@ACLSurvivalClub I play touch rugby. I was really shocked tbf. Apparently there's only a very small percentage of people that can return without surgery, I defo didn't think I'd be one of them. My biggest fear is something happening after surgery and not being able to play ever again 🙈 sounds dramatic I know. I think I will go for it as, although I'm playing I'm always conscious of my knee and I don't ever put my body on the line like I did before.. I've waited 17 months for surgery so there are lots of doubts lol

I've heard of quite a few rugby players who have managed to continue playing with no ACL - not medical advice by any means but if you feel your knee is stable it might be worth continuing on without surgery. Sending you best of luck with whatever you decide!

I have sent you a message on IG but I am not sure if you receive them (sorry for the double message) - I just wanted to say THANK YOU! I have been following your recovery the last months in prep for my own upcoming surgery. I have an amazing team of physios and I have weeks of prehab done - but this video is such a blessing! Thank you for documenting your journey, I feel so much better prepared for what is to come and kind of doing it along side you gives me so much mental peace. I have ordered half of what you have recommended 😂 including the Nutrition X products that you had on your hospital list and I hope my Compex arrives tomorrow :) Very excited to try everything out (is it weird to be excited about rehab now 😂)!
