★ WATCH ALL OF THE GLOW UP DIARIES: bit.ly/37O0bX6 ABOUT: This is a 6 year docu-series of my coming of age story. I originally thought I would end this series after a few months but ugly truths unraveled as I went further into my glow up journey. I began recording the glow up diaries at 17 years old and finished when I turned 22 years old.

I am way behind the times of finding this and after watching this I am bummed to see your not currently creating videos. You are a natural to this! Just want to say…I believe when you had that huge acne breakout, it was a detox that your body was going through. You were finally doing healthy things and all those toxins from the bad junk food was finding its way back out…that is what happens. It happened to me in my 30’s. Here I am in my 50’s and I am really enjoying your video diaries and your raw pure talent. I hope you have found a career in filming or counseling because you are a natural. Love this series…thank you for filming this and posting it.

Instead of using water ice cubes, you could also freeze chamomile tea and use it to reduce swelling and redness. For me it was pretty effective. Heyy, when I was 13 I wanted to glow up and loose weight.. unfortunately i failed....now I am 17..I failed because I was exercising and starving myself...I failed like a hundred times and eventually gave up...when I was 15 I wasn't doin so good, I was goin through some messed up shit and i still am..I started binge eating a lot...really a lot..i would eat a whole tub of ice cream so fast and I wouldn't even remember eating it or even enjoying it, it was bad,... I picked up a lot of weight. I'm 17 now and I'm still trying to loose weight but I jus can't.. I can't stop the binging its so harrrdd I can't control myself but I know I have too..I have too for the future me..but its way harder for me now cause my binge eating has gotten real bad.. I wanted to tell u my story because I regret giving up at 13 I should've tried harder, I should've controlled myself because now its much harder for me now then when I was younger.....stay strong and don't give up ok! Please! I know u can do it! I jus know it❤.

well first off stop puttin yourself down saying she is stronger than you (if that came off as rude i am sorry it is not meant to be), Next get food out of sight that you know you can't eat, and if you can't do that (you are 13, i know how it feels im 12) try drinking drinks you like (healthy ones ovi) Give yourself distractions, tell yourself you are not hungry you are bored (do not starve yourself)

I was like that, I couldn’t even look in the mirror because I didn’t like what I saw, I started wearing makeup so I could mask it and look ‘beautiful’. It was not until I started taking of the makeup, loving myself despite any flaws. There is more to acne on your face, and there is more looks. I questioned why i wore makeup as a facade. It was just something to make me blend into societal beauty standards. But now I am makeup worry free and anyone struggling with acne please realise that there is so much more than what you look like, I know it’s hard but if people don’t like you because of acne, you Yeet them. 8:05 I don't think PE is a good thing "now", like it's important to exercise but in PE we are evaluated on our results when there is so many body type and no one is equal AND no one is equal on the same activity, it's good to have PE in school but we need to change how we evaluate it because if we were evaluated on our efforts to surpass ourselves and not on our actual physical capacity it could be so awesome. I know someone who don't do any effort do have a 18/20 , me when I do everything in my power I have a 11/20 it's not fair... I have a phobia of the balls, when I have to play basketball I'm terrified, and even when I try to do my best... I have a 10/20 ...
@fovos73594 жыл бұрын
I think PE teachers need to understand that not everyone is athletic. Also for example the biasness or favourtism, the teacher would give a weak student 18/20 but give someone whos not good but tries best a 10/20. Honestly its so sad

Fred Indiglo how did it work when you were doing PE ? You were evaluated differently?
@hurricanetortilla-914 жыл бұрын
For us we are not co ed, and we don’t get marked on how well we do something, we get marked on how much effort we put it. In my class its easy to tell who is trying and cares about the grade and vice versa.

I feel like something this video thought me... is that reducing or removing acne isn’t just what has an effect on your SKIN on the outside, but it’s also the effect that goes on your mind on the inside. I learnt that ur exercise habits, yoga, trashing people who make your life worse, learning, eating healthy

One thing that helped me clear up my acne was to cover all my mirrors so I wasn't thinking about it so much and it eliminated the urge to pick at my skin or pop pimples. This might not work for everyone but I found that this really helped me to calm my skin down a little. When there were no mirrors around, there were no negative emotions because I wasn't constantly seeing my face and judging myself. I know for some if they have severe acne then it can be hard to ignore but trust me gals and guys, your gonna get through it !
@paid70935 жыл бұрын
You have no idea how you’ve helped me! When I came across your Acne in 60 seconds video, I just suddenly broke down in tears because I know how much pain it is to experience this type of self-hate and just having nothing wanting to do. I just remember feeling so negative and I hated my skin, the way I looked. But after seeing your glow up diaries, I decided that I wanted a change too, a positive change. So I did and I’m much better now. The one thing I want to get across is how much I love you and your videos! Thank you so much again!

I took a low dose of accutane last summer because I had severe acne since the age of 11, I'm sixteen now and I can't believe I lived with severe acne for five years. I tried so many different treatments, diet changes, and prescription to get rid of my acne but it kept getting worse and worse and it would be painful to lay my face on a pillow and to brush my hair because of the acne on my scalp. Not to mention the ruthlessly nasty comments I would receive from my peers about it. Needless to say my skin is mostly clear now and I only get small flare ups during my period. If you're in a similar situation to me or Alivia, please do not be afraid to use accutane if your doctor prescribes it to you. I know the there are some scary stories about the medication, but as long as its prescribed from a trusted dermatologist who closely monitors you while you're on the medication, it is very safe. There is hope 💞

Jane Schwartz I’m 11 now and I have not too bad acne, but the thing with my family is that they’ve all had pretty bad acne. Also in the light I can see little pre acne bumps. Any tips?
@Sora68935 жыл бұрын
Thiiiisss! I had really bad bad bad acne for years and oh god, how many times I didn't want to leave home... Finally, after many tries of my dermatologist to me try creams, he gave that medication and, for me, it was a treatment that lasted more than a year (i think i had to do it for almost two years) and had many side effects (like hella dry skin, lips, nose and even nosebleeds), but it was by far my best choice.

hey i used to have acne from the age of 11-13 and it was getting worse and worse and the things the doctors gave me didn’t work. i found a private hospital and i went on accutane and it made the difference, i didn’t care about the side effects because it was 100% worth it. i’ve never been happier than i am now and i have clear skin now. i do get a few pimples now and then but that’s normal. i love your glow up diaries so much, your so inspirational💓

Honestly I love this series😳 but I would love to know some tips, how do you stay motivated? I feel like I always try these things but I always get unmotivated like right now I just got out of school and I have been staying up all night and then sleeping all day doing absolutely nothing but laying in bed and eating. It’s extremely unhealthy and I hate it! But do I change?..no😔 I can’t get motivated!
@rramita89856 жыл бұрын
Hey gorgeous! First of all change your attitude so that you look at everything with a more positive attitude (trust me I used to be such a negative person but I’ve recently changed my outlook and my life has changed for the better so Ive been there xx) . Also I find watching motivational videos on KZbin or the glow up diaries helps me a lot and books like the law of attraction and the secret are incredible. Maybe make a vision board and organise your day in the morning so you have a plan of what you want to accomplish then make sure you get it done before the end of the day then treat yourself by relaxing etc. once you get that feeling of productivity and the success that comes with it (like good grades etc.) that will be the best form of motivation hopefully. Just never give up, keep going and stay positive. Hope that helps! Hit me up if you need more help and let me know how it goes ❤️

I highly suggest a fitness tracker even if it is the cheap $30 ones. Try your best to get at least 10,000 steps a day then gradually increase your goals. Also make it a goal to workout at least 30 mins a day start off with low impact flexibility workouts and then slowly change your plan to include more HIIT, weight lifting and pilates. I decided to make this change 2 years ago yet my diet was still bad so I was just flabby with muscle it was only until 7 months ago that I decided to take diet seriously and I'm down to a toned 106 lbs. Remember to eat healthy and portion your meats and fruits- eat as many veggies as possible. Hope this helps because I was just like this and at one point was 130 lbs and overweight(b/c petite). I alsways remember a saying " You get up and move the motivation just comes along as you keep doing this consistently don't search for it work for it"
@miaomiaou_6 жыл бұрын
Make a goal! When you have a goal in mind it will be easier to remember why you are doing something. Motivation waxes and wanes but if you keep your goal in mind you can recharge yourself when you need to. For example, for you, maybe consider what would going to bed earlier/waking up earlier enable you to do throughout the day? That’s what I’d build my goal around.

I am so happy and glad that I found your channel and videos. No matter where I look for people in the same situation as I am right now, all I find is girls going to get highlights, teeth whitening, eyelash lifts and manicures, and call it a “glow up”. After watching this series, I genuinely think that my mindset has changed from “get thin and pretty” to “get healthy and happy”.
