Don’t want to take too much away from Acola, but man I really don’t understand how there are still people who try to argue that Steve isn’t the clear and obvious top 1 in this game. Just look at the 2nd stock in game 5: a combo to get him all the way up to 50 and put Cosmos at ledge, a couple stray hits get him to 90, and then a super fast, super safe, super ginormous f-smash hits him center stage at 90% to kill him *convincingly.* This character is beyond ridiculous. I’m fully convinced there’s officially only one “top tier” character, and it is Steve. Every other character in the game simply can’t be categorized with him: he’s that much higher than the rest.
