Thanks fr the video! I picked up a smaller version of the Union brand safe and found it pretty robust for the price. I already had a large safe, but needed something quick access for a handgun. Our laws changed in CT last year and now any gun needs to be locked up (loaded or not). Even when you are in the home and have to leave the room, it needs to be locked up! (punishable as a felony) Only exception is on your body... These HF quick access safes are an affordable way to be compliant.

I would ONLY go with a mechanical combination lock. I have seen too many LPL videos.

Gun safe makes no sense. By time you get the guns out of the safe, youre dead. I hide my guns in 6 different spots around that house that i can access quickly.

Its a relatively climate controlled way to contain firearms,.to preventeasy theft and as much to keep them out of the hands of children. Gun safes are mainly.great for storage for multiple firearms.

@zeerevolutionwillbetelevised fair. The best gun safety is taking your kids out and teach them how to properly handle firearms. My dad bought be a 22lr at Kmart when I was 8.

There are many biometric safes available that can securely store one or two firearms, offering quick access while preventing unauthorized access, like from children. In my state, we're not allowed to leave firearms unattended, so wearing the gun on my hip is the best solution for me. The purpose of the safe, however, isn’t just for firearms but also for securing other valuables.
