Hi Sue! I microwave the squash whole for 1-2 minutes, and then I make a "nest" on my cutting board using a damp towel so that the squash doesn't move around when I'm trying to cut it. Have a Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for the recipe!

Yumm I’ve made that before it’s yummy. I also sometimes make it with butter and brown sugar.

I think I would put the squash in the oven and cook it whole for 10-15 mins to soften it to cut it

Either microwave the squash for a few minutes to soften it before cutting, or partake the squash to make cutting easier. Happy Thanksgiving!

Hey Sue, may I ask what air fryer you have? We've been talking about getting one and I like that yours seems to be on the smaller side. There's only two of us so I don't need one of those family industrial sized ones lol Also when you told Google to stop the alarm, it stopped the video on my phone 😆 gave me a good laugh

Our Air fryer is the Bella Pro Series. We bought it at Best Buy a few years ago. I don't know if they still carry the brand. This air fryer is a good size for cooking for two. We have not had any problems with ours and I do like it a lot. That is too funny about your phone shutting off! 😂
