In order to adjust the height afterwards, the springs would have to be compressed first, then make the adjustment?

If you can drop the axle enough to relief tension, then yes, compressing the spring is an excellent step to take

As a project rig, I bought a 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo (ZJ) and am wondering if I could go front and back with these adjustable spacers. Thanks!

Don’t think ZJ’s have a large enough strut tower in the rear. I could be mistaken, but I’d check that first

That piece that sticks down from the Jeep, my XJ doesn’t have it. So is it pointless then to get this ACOS?

the Spring tower? You have to have one, otherwise your coil would always fall out.
