You are so lucky to have your family and grand babies altogether living a country life! We just sold our California home and are moving within a mile of our granddaughters in Conroe, TX. We are so excited!! The kids moved at the end of June 2021 and it took us 4 months, (and my 91 year old mom's death 7/19/21) to make us think......why are we staying in California?? So we bought a home being built in the same neighborhood as our daughter. We can't wait to get there hopefully by the end of January 2022!

Hard finding fresh cranberries today...time to get bags in the freezer again when I can find them! I don't have the 'pie edge gene', the best I can do is a plain zig-zag edge, haha. Sure wish I could come to your house and be your kitchen assistant. Saw a 3-point buck today while running errands browsing at a house with an untended apple tree. I'm glad you put the Libby's pie recipe in your cookbook, my family thinks that is the best pumpkin pie recipe too. I have the hardest time finding your volume 1 cookbook in my house! Will absorb the moisture and keep breads moist but won't grow mold. Lady at the day old bread store was told this. it works great. And then we got to cousins. Oh my, I understand where she is coming from. And just an FYI all my real aunt's and uncle's on my mother's side were really great Aunts/Uncles.
