Another great performance! Great stuff! Very pleasing to the ears. You make Loopy Pro sparkle! Great video also. Really appreciate the camera angles showing the magic.

congratulations! I still can't manage to configure “Loopy” to start the loop when I press the Piston midi. At the moment it only records when the piston is released and that results in a failed loop. I'm sure your answer will help many!

Try this: - MIDI Learn - Choose the button/loop on the screen - I'll see the "Listening for events..." message - Press the button on your MIDI controller - Loopy Pro should determine which MIDI signal was received. Most likely, it will be a CC (Control Change) signal. Something like CC 23. Press on that message. - Choose On. This means that Loopy Pro will receive MIDI signals only when a button is pressed. Hope it will help!

hey, is it just me, or the auto midi learn doesn't works with helix? I have the lt and when I am on the "listening for events" tab, nothing happens if I press something on my helix... do you know what am I might missing? I can only manually assign controls, but with auto learn would be so much easy

MIDI Learn does work with the Helix, but you’ll need to configure the buttons properly in the Command Center on your Helix. Set each button to send a MIDI CC value of 127 when pressed, and a value of 0 upon release. This configuration allows Loopy Pro to detect and assign the controls correctly when using MIDI Learn. Is that bass effect coming from the hx stomp or iOS plugin? How would you recreate using iOS plugins? Thanks!
@max_yar_guitarАй бұрын
In this video, the bass effect comes from the HX Stomp. However, you can create a similar effect using iOS plugins. Here are a few options: 1.BYOD: A free plugin with a solid octaver that works great 2.ToneStack: many effects, including octavers 3. QVox Octaver Here's my my video on that kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJ-zipp8f9KMg9E

how to disable direct sound ?
@max_yar_guitar8 ай бұрын
It depends on how you want to monitor your sound using HX Stomp: 1 Direct monitoring from the Stomp: In this case, you should simply open the mixer in Loopy Pro, find the input channel, and disable monitoring. Unfortunately, you can't use Loopy Pro effect plugins for the input channel. 2 Loopy Pro software monitoring: In this scenario, it's impossible to use any stomp effects. You should create a preset with a volume block and set it to zero volume. Then, create a hardware input in Loopy Pro and select the 5/6 channel (bypass signal from HX Stomp)

Круто! Максим, какой плагин ты использовал для звука бас-гитары?
@max_yar_guitar Жыл бұрын

Have you experimented using a guitar app instead of an external pedal, like Line6? Maybe interacting with AUM and LP? I say this just to avoid hardware (batteries, adapter).
@max_yar_guitar Жыл бұрын
Great question. Actually, I’ve built entire acoustic guitar pedalboard inside Loopy Pro instead of HX stomp. I don’t use some pedalboard emulator (like Amplitude or Bias). I use a few plugins. Some of them are from Loopy Pro (eq), some of them are free from App Store, some of them I’ve bought from App Store. I am still testing this setup but I am quite happy with the sound and versatility of it :)

The one thing I can not seem to get, when I create my first loop on the first colour, every subsequent loop on the other colours is always the same length as the first colour. I am sure it is a setting somewhere, but jut like you had the percussion loop be 4 bars and then the chords be 8 bars ( give or take ), I am trying to achieve that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Max what guitar pickup are you using
@max_yar_guitar8 ай бұрын
I use Fishman Rare Earth Mic Blend as my main pickup. It has a built-in mic for natural acoustic vibes. Also, I got a second output jack. It’s a simple piezo disk pickup to capture kick sound
