Congrats on your new freedom.. Loopy Pro can be exactly what you need it to be.. completely personal.. that’s the beauty of it.. It’s amazing on iOS + will be a game changer for desktop (eventually).. Finding the right controllers will also be very personal.. unique to each of us.. and there’s so many options out there.. I believe Loopy Pro is the Revolution for loopers everywhere.. as you said, still big respect for anyone doing their thing on a hardware looper.. they make it look easy because they’ve put in a ton of time with that unit.. and all the things that can be done, it still blows my mind.. Look forward to more of your journey with Loopy Pro..

Wobbles, all the volume slider issues can be fixed by opening the case and clean the inner contacts of the sliders with electric contact cleaner, then apply dielectric grease to em. The shifting problem on the tracks could be from the sd card inside degrading from reading and writing over the years. I ended up replacing the 4GB card with a 16GB in mine and it can store hours and hours in the track sets! just clone the root of the card and replace it, but make sure its a higher quality card though. simple! I enjoy these videos where you talk about your equipment, I learn a lot.

Hey man, this video has been super helpful for me, was considering buying one of the 505s and youve swayed me to hold out. I was already planning on buying a mac for more portable production and since loopy pro will be coming to mac thay should work out great. Regarding "review videos" idea I think you'd be great considering your apparent knowledge on audio, and the simplistic nature of the video is more of a pro than a con for me, similar to flossy carter reviews in that its free from all the fluff and bullshit, just straight review. It's a great bit of software isn't it. First thing to do though is turn off the auto loop detection stuff. It's surprisingly good, but adds a nasty delay to getting started if you're an experienced looper who can press a button in time :)

@@R3alFred yeah. It's all about how ypu route it. I think you'll still need extra audio interface. I am not sure why would you wanna do it though. Loopy is way beyond of what rc505 can do.
I'm really glad you switched to loopy pro. I don't like what the rc 505 and boss have done for the loopers. It costs pretty much the same as a PS5, but it's far behind modern audio technology. Not even build quality is up to par with basic midi controllers on the market. I personally love loopy. I think the only issue is that new loopers trying to use loopy pro might get lost in how complex you can get on it. Opposed to the 505's. But if we don't keep pushing on to newer technologies, we won't advance.

@Lancer20046 ай бұрын
loopy pro has MUCH more capability over both the MK1 and 2, but can also have a pretty big learning curve. The MK2 isn't quite as simple as the MK1, but it has much greater capability over the MK1. I personally have an MK2 paired up with a Line 6 HX FX as a second device so i can produce more synthy sounds and generally cleaner sounds at that. There's a lot of versatility with either loopstation, and it all comes down to personal preference. Obviously the main difference is that the Loopy Pro can be used on any apple device which gives you a whole device along with a super capable looping machine, while the MK2 is a standalone loopstation that is completely analog and gives you real physical feedback on your loops.

Loopy Pro is about 10x as powerful as any Loopstation out there at the moment. You have as many tracks as you want, it has full MIDI capabilities, it has a sequencer (so you can record songs with everything in it like intros, verses, choruses - bridge, ending etc.), you can design your own user interface, you can control the lyrics for all of the band, we even control our light show with it. We have an 8-piece band. Not everyone shows up for each and every rehearsal. No problem with this tool. It even has import functions so anyone remote can tribute. You can record demos with it, edit and mix them on an airplane and deliver the results ready for import into any DAW or as an email attachment when you arrive. And it costs $30 😁. Like Wobbly says: This is the future of looping.
