All the difference is in the mutes! But man is palm muting difficult. It sucks that you make It look so simple but in reality it's a skill most have never learned. Kudos to you!

you can do it brother! stick with the basics and you'll get it down. I struggled the longest time.

the only part about using a pick, it would be tough to do the pinching parts when you are finger picking but a pick def. gives the guitar a clear sound. Try it and see what you think.

Which strings (brand/model and gauge) do you use on your gs mini?

The mini comes from Taylor with Elixir medium gauge 80/20 nanowebs. I need to get some new one's soon. I have never restrung it
