I have been reading the Bible in a year and I am on day 337. Out of all days to watch this video for the first time, I watched it the same day that I read Psalm 139 this morning. God really does work in mysterious ways. 🙏🏻

I would like to thank you for all your lessons, not just the guitar ones too. I found psalm 139:13 - 14 back in July after loosing one of our Triplets (12 hours after he was born). Since then (less than two months ago) started playing guitar as a way to deal with stress in my life. I have found learning to play guitar to be calming (despite how frustrating it can be). Thank you again Sir.

T. Johnson amen! so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine. I will pray God will give you unexplainable strength in the tough times. Keep praising the Lord with that guitar. It is such a great stress reliever! have a great day.

Thanks Matt. I so appreciate the way you layout the basics. I took lessons for a semester at my local church but ended up only learning chords without associating them. I was beginning to feel frustrated but then came across your video where you’re sitting in your truck strumming to worship music and I was like, yesssssss! That’s exactly what I was looking for! Not to be an expert but to apply the basics in a fun and spiritual way. God is so good. I hope you know how inspirational and exciting your videos are, which is why I subscribed. Keep up the great work, you’re a blessing to many of us.

Hey!!! I've watched your videos for quite some time! I really love your lessons and anytime I wish to learn a new song I simply type in the name of the song and then I type Matt McCoy. I was wondering if you had ever heard of the brand thinline guitars. I was looking on Amazon and found a neat electric / acoustic guitar that was my favorite color but it was made by thin line and it was offered for 80 to 90 dollars and I was wondering if you have heard about it or maybe if it was a reliable brand
@acousticselection9 жыл бұрын
Nick Rose not really sure Nick..did it have good reviews? i usually am leary of buying online cause I always like to hold the guitar before i buy it to make sure it feels good for me. Amazon usually allows for free returns so you should be okay.

Nice video buddy.. One Question though. What type of wall hangers do you use, because I picked up a cheap one from Amazon to test it out and I don't know if I trust it holding up my guitar.
@acousticselection9 жыл бұрын
Brian Hutchison hey Brian..i'll have to check...i bought some cheaper one's of ebay but as long as you put them into a stud on the wall then they should hold fine. (Let's keep our fingers crossed! haha)
@Sonicxtacy029 жыл бұрын
Thats funny I was thinking the same thing.. he has wall hangers that actually hang to the wall.

Ill have a look.. I just need a good sturdy one as my wall is concrete once I go through the plaster and I will have to put plastic plugs in as well so it doesn't move.
