Greetings my friend, This video is about power. Specifically, how and when to acquire it and (just as importantly) when not to attempt to acquire it. I've also packed almost everything I know about Machiavelli, into a short digital book: eudaimoniayoutube.gumroad.com/l/master-machiavelli _ad victoriam_ - Adam

Eudaimonia Are you using a Parker sonnet, graduate or jotter?

Too bad for Machiavelli he was ignored by the people he tried to get to sponsor him. In all honesty, Niccolo reminds me of a person who's first book is "How to write a book in 30 days." This specific part of his work is particularly bad advice for anyone who wants a higher chance at success in life. Failing, failing often, and continuing to try is the only path to mastery -- and people who worship success regardless of morality are Trump supporters. They'll get their own failure in the long run.

Very similar to the art of war. Attack where your enemy is weak avoid where the enemy is strong.

Well everyone wants power. Even when people say they don’t want power, they really do.

Another excellent video as always! Any plans on doing any videos on the works and thoughts of people like Aristotle, Plato, Caesar etc?
@Obtaineudaimonia6 жыл бұрын
Cheers. Currently reading works on the Roman Empire, so Caesar is a distinct possibility in the not too distant future.
@Coleorton76 жыл бұрын
Yeah, there's Caesars commentaries on the Gallic Campaign, Cicero works, Aristotle Politics, all sorts of knowledge, at the end of this year I would of turned the UK into an Empire again with all this knowledge! :p
