Becky, have you ever tried zesting your citrus the opposite way? Rather than having your lemon on top of your zester, bring your zester to the top of the lemon and turn it over so that the blades are touching the lemon and the non-sharp side is facing upward. Not only can you see exactly where you need to zest next, all of the zest is collected on the zester and it does not fall until you are ready to turn it over and tap it into the bowl. This has been a game changer for me! I actually zest more efficiently because I don’t have to keep lifting the lemon up to see where to zest next. I have complete control over dragging the zester across the next area on the lemon.

Becky, my husband and I got married in April 2021 and we also decorated with baby's breath but we added eucalyptus like you did here with some soft pink and red flowers for a little color. I've thought recently after seeing such beautiful wedding flower arrangements that maybe I should've done something more but you saying you still thought your tablescapes we're beautiful really gave me peace about my decision and also reminded me that just because I didn't do exactly what lots of other people did didn't mean that I was wrong or picked something ugly. I so enjoy your company and can't wait to watch your seed video!

I loved the pink tulips in the vases. How do you keep your little boy quiet in the evenings when you are filming without a peep of noise? I know you said during the day you had things covered with people watching him. Love the way this kitchen is laid out. You remind me of my mother and the beautiful garden she used to have. She would love to can and freeze food for my sister and I. She has gone to Heaven now and I miss her terribly. I am sure the grandparents loved the invitation and the great food. So many beautiful memories are made around a table. Happy valentines day to you and your little family.

For what it’s worth….hope it helps for future projects… 1. Instead of tilting the lit candle, hold the lit candle upright and tilt the UNLIT candle to light it, preventing drips of candle wax on you table. 2. Chill bowl and whisk VERY WELL before making whipped cream. It’ll have LOTS of loft. What a fun vlog and I bet that dinner was fabulous. I’d be ready to go shower and go to bed and let my husband host it by the time the guests arrive. 😂. I’m a fan of having guests join us for lunch or a rather early dinner. As always, well done Becky!

Those tulips are beautiful! If you will take some tape (preferably floral tape) and put it across the mouth of the jar in a tic tack toe board you can arrange the flowers and greenery in the holes you now have and the flowers in the middle will stay in the middle. It is a prettier arrangement if you put your taller flowers or greenery in the middle and slow reducing the height of your flowers as you go to the edge of the jar.

Becky, u mentioned making homemade tortilla chips. I make mine from homemade corn tortillas . ( I use a tortilla press which makes the dough thin). I don’t fry but bake in oven at 250 degrees until golden in color, and crispy. When you have a stack of tortillas, cut them into triangles and spread on a cookie sheet and spray generously with coconut or olive oil spray, and salt them when out of the oven and still hot. I also stack my tortillas and slice thinly into strips for garnish on chicken tortilla soup or pozole.. I freeze mine and take out when needed.

Becky your meal looks phenomenal, I envy your energy my girl☺️ A good rule of thumb when using flowers on your table is to “keep them low”, so that they don’t inhibit your guests view. Once I assemble my arrangements & place them on the table, I sit in several of the seats to ensure each person will be clearly seen. I think we’ve all been to gatherings where we’re leaning over & craning around a centerpiece to speak to someone on the other side of the table! Blessings to you & your sweet family 💕

Another lovely video - thank you! I noticed your kitchen aid whisk attachment is making a bit of noise in your bowl when whisking. I have the same problem if I don’t check the alignment of the whisk loops - in my model (it looks the same as yours), the two biggest loops lock into one another with one having a notch that the other loop fits in to where they overlap at the bottom of the whisk. I sometimes find after washing that the loops are no longer locked together which means they’re out of shape for the bowl and hit in places which make a noise and I just have to clip them back together to solve this problem. Worth checking at your end as I couldn’t quite see in the video if this was the case.

Hi, favorite snack to make are tortilla chips: after making tortillas cut into pieces and let them dry for a few hours or over night. You do Not need to fry. Simply spread on cookie sheet spray with olive oil, toss, then lightly spray again. Add seasoning. Bake at 400 for 5 minutes turn bake additional 4 minutes or until crisp. Another tip is use a fillet knife (very narrow blade) to cut cookie dough logs, it does not effect dough’s shape
