You are proof a channel can grow and be a success without click bait titles, constantly telling viewer to like and subscribe, merch, all the stuff. Viewer can just watch, learn, enjoy. Love that you show the oops moments too. You are so relatable. Congratulations on upcoming baby. Keep on being you.

That is one of the reasons I love Becky's channel. It is so different than all the bombardment we get with shocking titles. Selling you items constantly and not necessarily just what the content maker uses. I love this friendly, good hearted, productive lady(Becky) so much. The German pancake is also called a Dutch baby. So maybe those folks who commented they were German, but never heard of the German pancake maybe you've heard it called it a Dutch baby. Potato patties, white beans with ham hocks , and cornbread is one of the staple meals my Hillbilly Mom made. So glad you like them! We always called them potato patties because potato pancakes are like regular pancakes made with potato flour. Glad you took a rest. Oh, as far as the table runner goes, whomever will be sitting at the ends of the table will not have a flat surface on which to put their plate. I am wondering if you can try-fold a thin tablecloth long-ways and use that for a table runner since you know your tablecloths fit. So sweet that you are waiting with the bassinet assembling so that Josh can be involved in it as well. Kind of a right of passage for becoming a "Dad". Praying for an easy and effective delivery for both you and baby. HUGS

Hi Becky! I did set up the nursery before baby was born but we didn’t use it for about 6 months. I wanted the baby next to me in a bassinet. I don’t care what people say…If the baby made a sound, or was just too quiet…I could put my hand out and make sure everything was ok and could sooth him/her and we could both go back to sleep, (instinctually new Mothers don’t sleep much). Do what works for you and Josh, we are happy for you. As with the table decorations…”Never have a centerpiece that blocks the view of others at the table”…. You have Great Decorating Instincts! Becky I know this is too late to help you but trash bags can be turned into garment bags by putting the hangers through the bottom. They will keep the cloths dust free and can be left in the closet. Also the clothes can be laid on the bed and covered with a sheet which will keep your bed dust free as well.

When I was going through my culinary/hotel restaurant management classes they always taught that when setting tables to make sure that the centerpieces are shorter and not don't interfere with looking across the table and having convo with people. Votive candles would be a great choice compared to candle sticks since you would have to move and look around the candle sticks to have a clear view of the people across from you. But everything looks lovely!

Becky have you tried placing your placemat and plate on end of runner for balance, some times the stringy bits get in the way. You can add some fish into your potato cake mixture , great to get fish into your diet especially after baby is born, helps with your hair, try dates or figs with stewed apple's anything that helps you stay regular after the birth is worth it's weight in gold. If u can avoid medications and get what you need from your normal food all the better.

Hi! Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but just a gentle note to watch the dogs closely when you burn these particular oils. Eucalyptus and citrus can be toxic to them, so watch for behaviors that are out of the ordinary - drooling, imbalanced walking, lethargy, etc. If you see it, get them outside right away and open the windows to clear the air :)

Truthfully, I would save the ceramic trees for after Thanksgiving, but the rest is beautiful. Yes, normally table runners go over the ends but in the case of your table is spot on. I think because the color of the wood of your table is so pretty ! Not sure why but I prefer your table runner's length is fantastic! Love the candle holders! Hi Becky! That pancake is made just like a British Yorkshire Pudding. You should try leaving out the vanilla and serving it alongside a dinner. It's traditional on a 'sunday roast' dinner here, but I imagine it would go great in place of biscuits wherever you would normally have them.

And have been making your German pancakes my whole life, we call it Tomelji, we would top it with honey or jam, and have it any time, not just breakfast. My dad taught me how to make it when I was about 10 yes old, and I taught my kids when they were about 10 yrs old. It's our family favourite for many generations.

Also.. don't be discouraged if you can't keep up with all you do when the baby comes. I remember thinking " oh, I'll just put the baby in a stroller and get out and garden" or " I'll just wrap the baby on me while I cook dinner". It turns out kids have different plans and your energy may be less than what you think. Take it easy. We are here while you recover and adjust to life with a baby.

I noticed you drink tea. I wanted to share something i learned from Homestead Family. She has a free herb class and in that class she said if making tea for medicinal uses to cover the cup with a lid or saucer while steeping to keep all the medicinal properties in the tea. Also if using prepackaged tea use 2 tea bags as those bags don't have enough in them. I suffer from anxiety and I have used lemon balm and it helped minimally. So I tried both things and I drank it and felt very calmed and relaxed. Love your videos!!!

Tip for "free" green onions, even if you don't have a garden. Leave a good amount of the whites, plop them in a glass or jar, add water &place in windowsill. They'll regrow 2 or 3x more in just water. Also, I'm loving the crocheted potholders you've been using lately. I have so many of them my dearly departed Granny made for everyone in the family. I lived with her for a time and got to pick my favorite colors. Then she made special sets just for me ❤👵.

Here's a thought for the runner. I like the length. I've sat at the end of a table with a runner hanging over the end. It was uncomfortable. Too easy to scoot the runner by accident . Also I'd probably use the trees nestled with ribbon, greens, placemats, coasters or something with color to set off the white trees. I think they kind of get lost on the white runner. Just my thoughts.

My mom used to make leftover mashed potato cakes for lunch when I was little. I’m not from the south but grew up in Nova Scotia, Canada. I loved them. She’d put a fried egg with a runny yoke with it and some times baked beans. So so good. I think she made for me because I never liked cod cakes.
