It's a Christmas upload, hope you guys enjoy something a little different from the normal ones we do. The Provia and Velvia ones will take a little longer as we're developing the positive film out of the country but do stay tuned for that! As usual, let us know what you think of the video and if you have any differing views. After all, whatever we talk about in the video is our opinion.

I’m looking forward to Fuji bringing out the new formulation of Acros (hopefully soon). Great comparison!

Hi Film Friends, there's an error at 1:02, the iso on the XT3 is 160 instead of 120, sorry about that!

Sorry that I'm nearly 6 months late to this conversation! I only shoot Acros 100 in 120 format, but I love it for its wide tonality and how forgiving it is during the development stage. For my tastes, Acros fares better than ISO/ASA 100 t-grain films like TMax or Delta when pushed beyond their rated box speed. The only comparison I have is Ilford HP5+ 400 when overexposed at ISO/ASA 100. I do like the Acros simulation on my Fujifilm X100F, but, even when I calibrate my scanner, display, and so on, the X100F JPEGs always look underexposed by about 1/2 to 2/3 stop. ISO 200 on the X100F seems closer to Acros 100 scanned. Still, the tonality is pretty darn close.

I really enjoyed the results from both cameras, the simulation is nice for hybrid shooters. Being able to achieve tones and colors that you're familiar with, in camera is a handy feature. Also Tmax 100 and Delta 100 are kind of similar in terms of fine grain and exposure latitude. I personally love Delta. Great video!

Interesting video! Although they did a good job of simulating this film but as you've said the shooting experience with analog cameras is what matters!
