Across the Spider-verse fails at Worldbuilding

I honestly don’t understand how people are saying that this is better than the first movie when it clearly isn’t and if miles being bit by the spider broke canon wouldn’t his world be destroyed since Miguel said that’s what would happen if canon was broke also how is Miles the original anomaly when Miguel? Was actually the original anomaly we see this in the film where the other Miguel is dead

The end of the movie makes it clear Miguel is wrong about the canon. That's the point. It's not a plot hole or flaw, it's a choice by the writers.

@@AmvParacosm9 But that doesn't explain the canon events being caused by things that aren't canon events. I'm happy for Miguel to be wrong, but it has to fit with what causes a canon event in the first place
