@@MrDEWaters partially true, comments do contribute to engagement stats, and if i recall correctly they're weighted heavier than likes. this has been the norm for most content sharing platforms now, to the detriment of the readily pushed content and viewers.

Get on the Washington State Ferry at the ferry landing west of Anacortes and go out to Friday Harbor on San Juan Island. (Maybe take a map so you can name the small islands as they float by.) Watch for bald eagles and orca whales along the way. Seven of the islands have schools. Shaw Island, served by the ferry, has maybe ten children. Orcas Island may be the best one to visit by car. It has trout fishing and hiking, especially east of the town of Eastsound.

Weather that’s finding Leavenworth coming around a mountain and being awed by it or going to quiet little squim to go see elk and bears it’s a fun place to live but not if you don’t have deep pockets. fyi... in the segment on Port Townsend, it says "miles of beaches". I'm not aware of a single beach there. Have you actually been there?

Regarding North Bend hikes, Rattlesnake Ledge is a good and much easier hike, very scenic. Just be careful at the top-people fall and die trying to take good photos or corral their dogs. Also, the view atop Mt. Si is leagues better than the video clip (not sure what that’s from, but definitely not Mt. Si). I climbed Haystack rock on top of Mt. Si a few times, and the views are even better, but I don’t really recommend it, as it’s technically a scramble (basic rock climbing). I did see a mountain goat up there though, so I can vouch for that.

If you're going to do a video on a state, please get the pronunciations correct. (props for pronouncing Sequim correctly) It's Bell - ing - HAM. North Bend are two words. Winthrop - the route shown is the North Cascades Highway. It's a beautiful and geologically diverse area. It's closed in the winter and doesn't generally open until the middle or late spring. Going to the San Juans (four are served by WA state ferries) in a car on the Ferry - ferry reservations are *strongly recommended* - ESPECIALLY when leaving the islands.

I can't even count the mispronunciations in this video. I don't know if it's bot generated or just someone without knowledge but trying to be an expert. Yes, Im local and have been to each of these locations.

Mm so you’re saying that everything on the East side of the mountain is the best and everything on the west is not worthy well there more to this state than your take on things apparently there’s all kinds of really nice little towns in Washington not just along the water lines

I have been to most of these places but I'll be honest I have never heard of La Conner or Winthrop. Also, no offense but North Bend is not a tourist destination. It's a nice, quiet town but I would not recommend it as a tourist spot like Sequim during Lavender season or Friday Harbor.

Lived in Bremerton and Silverdale while in the Marine Corps. Beautiful area, and a lot to do. Really enjoyed both tours to the PNW. Too bad Seattle will never be the same since letting the protesters take over the city during covid. The lack of law has helped me not to move back. Thanks for sharing.
