Make sure you’re using a soft white with an opaque cover pink/nude. Made a world of difference for me when I was beginning. ❤️

if you put the acrylic too close to the cuticles, doesn’t it lift easier and/or grow out with a lip or something? i try not putting it too close but they end up lifting a little even right after i file

When sizing the tip, should it be from size wall to size wall without pressure? I don’t know if that makes sense. When I try to size my nails, I have to press down, and the tip kind of spreads out to meet at the side walls, is that correct? None of them fit without doing that.

No it shouldn’t splay out when you apply the tip. I think you can see in this video how the tips go from side wall to side wall with no pressure x

I seriously am struggling with the application of acrylic near the cuticles. I keep going over the cuticles no matter how hard I try 😩☹️. Any tips?

Hey! I know you were asking the person making this video but I do have a few tips :) Make sure you're bead isn't too wet or too dry Start with the cuticle area when applying and take your time Practice makes perfect!! I hope these help you

Tilt your clients finger down so the product naturally comes away from the cuticle, & make sure your ratio is spot on x

mayrita chavez I’m not a professional nail tech but I do my own nails. If you’re brush is drying hard, there may be acrylic stuck in it. You need to make sure you buy a good brush (made with kolinsky hairs) and clean your brush after use with monomer and brush cleanser if you wish. In regards to your acrylic drying fast, your beads may not be wet enough. You can watch videos in how to get the perfect bead or change your acrylic system x Hope this helps ☺️
