Acrylic pouring & fluid art:
All you need is.. knowledge! And right after that supplies. Get the basics first. believe me....your stock will grow automatically. it's important to understand what you need and why. Make your own educated decision.
Understand the background how things work, concistency is all, paint mixing. don't get fooled by magic recipes.
It's all about the magic
Over the artist:
Hi. I'm an artist for acrylic paint pouring and fluid art from the Netherlands. This form of abstract and modern decorative painting is done with Acrylics brought to the right consistency with various pouring mediums, oils and additives. By moving the paint layers, playing with different tools or adding heat I create different effects. Very messy and very fun. The Paintings can be don't know canvas, MDF frames, tiles or other flat surfaces. Can also be used to make daily items and gifts unique f.ex. little boxes or ornaments.

@mariemyriam5616

Hello Eleanor :) i'v tried so many type of glue...and i found that the right one should be acid free and dry clear and archival ..it means it wont go yellow....for the consistency it should be like warm honey....not to liquid and not to thick....the brand that i use is not well known..and it's very cheap it's made in Malaysia ... because i live in uae...so try to find a glue with these specifications :) hope this help :)

I made my first pouring with water and a very little bit of liquid soap in it. A cheap way for getting another effect.

Hey, thank you really much for that amazing information! :) May I ask how the torch model is called you are using? :) *Edit: and second question, would you recommend to use a torch with a rather small flame or a rather big flame (big means starting from ~2.5 cm up to 15 cm)? I'd be really interested in your opinion
@PouringArtExperience

Its not a specific model. Just look for a creme brule kitchen torch

Could you use something called Bristol board? Especially for practicing or when you’re new? I don’t know if it comes In different finishes (smooth, textured, etc) and I don’t know if that’s a factor when you’re picking what you’re painting on.
@PouringArtExperience
@PouringArtExperience 3 жыл бұрын
I would not use canvas boards if thars what it is. I am not sure what it is you mention. You can also use tiles for exercise. Can even wash it off

I've never tried it before but I'd like to! Can you use cork board for this?? Also do you have to use the silicone and latex or can you just have the glue/water?
@PouringArtExperience
@PouringArtExperience 5 жыл бұрын
Have a look at the basic playlist and start with the information on how things work and why to get real start up background knowledge. I find that very importantant. Don't think cork works. With glue and water for trying out perhaps but I don't advise it. Check the playlist ;-)
