I appreciate the videos as well. Only problem i see is giving all the information to homeowners as well. Us technicians spend alot of time and money into training . The homeowner can now just do it themselves.

So next we can expect homeowners will do their surgeries because an engaging surgeon provides incredible discussions and videos on surgeries, etc.? Craig is brilliant and amazing. He says it best yet in this video, "...we're all testing and trying to figure things out...[learning]...we put our heart and soul into this stuff and take pride in what we're doing..." NO homeowner will ever be this committed...EVER. In fact, very few in this trade will ever reach Craig's level, commitment and dedication...and STILL be learning. Conversely, most homeowners just don't want to spend any money on HVAC. In fact, most don't even want to change a furnace filter let alone pay for one. Frankly, the more homeowners know, the more they want to hire solid professionals and not waste money. Remember, there are two ways of doing things: the right way and again.

Buck-boost transformers could also play a role in cleaning the power BEFORE the surge protector. It can increase and decrease the power to the surge protector to keep constant power to the equipment. I think it makes sense to use in parts of the country where utility power has known issues.

If the electronic boar has noise supresor and a good voltage over and low voltage range protector so then no problema it's all about the electronic inverter board design.

For a multizone mini split system in cooling, why when one unit is turned on, the line ices up and the system won’t cool but as soon as you turn on a second indoor unit, then they both cool as they should?

If you are reading resistance & shorting the probes reads 0.4 ohms, then that is your zero set point. As long as they are not reading over 1 ohm they are fine, especially when checking motor windings for shorts & opens. If you want to do a real test kn the windings, use a megger. 1/10's of an ohm doesn't mean anything unless you are working on electronic circuits. Some meters will calibrate to zero if you hold the leads shorted for 20 seconds

Surge protection won't solve dirty power. The correct solution is an input reactor.

@@LC-qi5ff it has a filter board but I believe it only cleans the power just enough and/or it doesn’t regulate voltage it just cleans it so the under volt or over voltage will still ruin things
