I noticed the receptacle underneath the tankless water heater is not a GFCI. Is that legal where you are? Very nice install!

It is not a single speed or two speed gas valve. It is a single stage or two stage gas valve.

If anyone is still watching this. I would appreciate some advise. Have a similar gas valve, Dexen brand. For some reason I can only get the gas valve to open the valve for the burner. When I jump the RH and W terminals together on the thermostat. And. Will shut itself off while having no call from the thermostat. Because it's satisfied with the temp

I've been in the HVAC field for 27 years. I've installed everything from a 1.5 ton mini split in a tar paper shack to 30 ton RTU's on large commercial buildings. I have recently started my own company and was hoping to get your advice on how an old installer can get confident enough to service the equipment I install and eventually any and all equipment. There are several avenues I've considered including your books, just watching you tube videos, possible enrolling in an online service program, or just bugging my service tech buddies when I can't figure something out. I look forward to any advice. Thanks ,Dan

IDK, why are the breaks your making the exact length of the tool? Show the same with a 12”x12” end cap or duct. Or a 24” x 24”. I’m getting pretty old and we made pretty much the same thing 49 years ago with a bar break and s lock. BTW, you’re great. No disrespect meant.

Please Please make more Videos like this. Meaning showing more TS Scenarios. I'm getting a more understanding of how the AC works with A TXV.

The system is 3 phase and the compressor is a scroll. Its making noise, did you try changing the phasing of the compressor? It looks like to me the compressor is going backwards.

So if there's a current running through the gas pilot tube, should I not use Teflon tape on its threads ?

Hi Craig, great video. Got a quick question. Say for instance you have a mini split that is completely empty on charge, (i.e. compressor replacement, etc). I assume you do the vacuum process just like you described, but when pulling the vacuum you leave both service valves open to ensure you’re pulling vacuum on the outdoor unit as well?

So many ways but the best is to be direct, meaning.. one hose setup with 1/2 hose and micron gauge on the opposite end that is the best way

In Minus 3 weather how would i charge a empty heat pump after fixing a leak? I know i charge by weight but after the vacuum it may only take in 2 to 3 lbs and then stop , i have to keep going, How do i get the rest in ? Its a senville that needs 68.9 OZ the senville allows me to force it into cooling mode by pressing the indoor head reset button twice, Can i do it that way in cooling mode?

There's no actual science behind any 'gases' warming the planet. It's all hypothesis, so were spending trillions now on a hypothesis. Some know it is, while I think the majority fall for it into thinking it's absolutely legit. I had one guy argue with me they're using Venus as proof. "R-fortinaye" lol. Won't less efficient refrigerants cause the need for the unit to run more? Use more electricity?

I am an electrician, but I took a furnace and gas unit heater course before. The gas unit heater fan was broken. I replaced it. The fan continues running without heat. Thermostat temperature is high about 25 C. Heat is not working. Is the ECM blower motor fault? Can you tell me about it?
