I'm reading your book The Film Director's Intuition which I picked up at a used book sale. I'm not even an aspired actor or director. But after reading only the content page and the New Readers, returning reader's section, I knew I'll learn soooo much from this book, not so much about directing or acting, but about myself. Thank you Judith. You're such a beautiful human being.

She's great. Very clear. Those who bite at her heels: Take what's useful and leave the rest. I agree; no need to get nasty. It's a strange phenomenon, the cruelty, the anonymous cruelty.

But the character also lies, so it's not just about "truth." That is part of *dramatic* truth.

So then maybe acting is freedom? And society is a cage? Acting gives us a free escape from cage of society? lol
