A lot of designers make the insides of custom heads empty to make them universal. A technique that I discovered is to fill the head with hot glue and cover the neck joint with plastic wrap. Then put the head on and let it dry. Once it’s dry you take the head and plastic wrap off and the head pops onto the joint just like any other.
