I was not sure about Action Surge at first because I was worried it would feel too much like spoilers but I have come to love the peak behind the curtain and insight from the players.

Yeah, it’s a strange balance because you don’t want it to ruin or takeaway from the main story but it really is just a nice way to reflect on things (both good and bad) and as new players, help us explore the decisions we made. It also means we have a separate space and don’t need to weigh down the main story with it either. They exist as conversations in their own little space. Thank you so much for watching and supporting ❤️ - Hollie

I really hope everyone's background gets the same deep treatment as Ellowen. We got this great window into her past, and it was so well developed and felt so real and personal, and it was this brand new side of her. I fully expect all five characters have this kind of depth of background, so it would be a shame if it didn't get the same treatment. I also hope that Ellowen isn't "done" as a character now that her past is revealed. Hollie is a real star at RP. She sold the family dynamic so _perfectly_ that I almost suspect she's been through a family estrangement or run away IRL in order to relate to it fully. Whatever it is that she's bringing to the table, keep using it to bring the story to life, even though she doesn't have a lot of mysteries to unveil anymore.

I love the Raidion is basically carrying around a 'book of evidence' that can get them all locked up at any moment :) And its his Spellbook so there is no way to rid of it...

As always thank you for your insights in the episode and also for the whole concept of Action Surge, because it just adds so much more depth into the whole story. And also keeps me 'connected' while waiting for another episode. Thank you and wish you all a very lovely day.

Action Surge is perfect because it always spurs me to go back to the episode and really catch all these beautiful little intricacies and themes I might've not quite picked up on, you guys are fantastic

It makes us so happy to hear that. Action Surge is such a great space for us to really break things down and to reflect on even little moments but without taking away from the main story. Love when others feel the same - Hollie

45:00 Food for thought... "The Child" Kelnys might qualify. Raidion might qualify. Elowen might qualify. Dolly might qualify. Even I (the character, not the Dave) might qualify. Or it could be an old friend. Or an old enemy. Or someone we haven't met yet. We'll just have to keep paying attention as to how things unfold in future episodes.

I only just finished watching the episode and left a comment about how it felt like a less engaging episode as a listener. Getting the BTS puts that in another perspective; it is nice to hear how the players are paying more attention than me and that they are enjoying these more tranquil deep-dive episodes

I didn't think Morgan was really controlled so much as he was blackmailed. I inferred from the note that they found and the spinner's response to Dolly's report that they had his (possibly long-lost) mother and were going to kill her if he failed.

39:00 Yeah, think about it logically. It's basically an army, and those two were sent out to the ass end of the world, along a dirt road in the woods, to hang up some wanted posters. It's not just grunt work, it's PUNISHMENT busy-work. These guys obviously weren't officers. They weren't top brass. They're the screw-ups who are always getting into trouble and quite frequently find themselves assigned to KP and latrine duty. At least that's the way I saw it as an audience member from the other side of the internet. Not to say that they're complete morons, but as soldiers go they would be bottom tier of the army.

Harry stopped Doug revealing something. Doesnt Kel Speak elvish? theres a third language he knows im almost sure from early on. So his parents might be elves? edit yeah theres confirmation of elvish connection.
