Looks like he did a damn fine job to me. I drive fuel trucks in North Jersey. Some tight turns, but it’s a tanker, not a 53 footer. And explain, what do you mean by “if anything”?
@MattRawrXd5 жыл бұрын
I agree. He hopped the curb a bit, so he could've stood to swing out a little wider before beginning to crank back to the right

GPS sent my cousin down a one way street in Brooklyn. Lined with cars. Had to back up a 53ft two miles....😂😂😂

@@1EVILZ06 this literally happened to me hauling a 38' boat with a 40' trailer😂. Same spot too. GPS had me going all through NYC it wasn't the most fun experience but it sure was an experience 😅

I pull a 39 feet fifth wheel camper with my pickup truck, it’s not near as bad as this, but I know the feeling, I ALWAYS back up my car to give truckers and school bus drivers a chance to make their life less stressful, and they ALWAYS thank me, because they acknowledge you care for them.

I think he could've gone past the intersection he wanted to turn at, and then make 3 left turns to place himself on the street and direction he wanted to go. It might've taken longer, but at least he'd more likely have proper clearance for the turns.
@nethacker917 жыл бұрын
So 3 extra left turns that might be just as problematic.
@Bad_Drivers_Caught_On_Dashcam7 жыл бұрын
No, because left turns are wider and clearance wouldn't be the issue it is for right turns.
@Bad_Drivers_Caught_On_Dashcam7 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't say all cities are perfect grids, but NY is one of the best (if not, THE best) for a grid layout. Boston is the worst.
@DaddysFastestSwimmer5 жыл бұрын
@@nethacker91 I tried that 3 left turn plan in Chicago once. Big mistake. Best to just combine a buttonhook and jughandle turn and hog up the intersection real estate. The people behind you will get over it and cops will understand.
@GabLeGamer5 жыл бұрын
you can't always do that, some of those streets are one-way's, or no truck or have idiots double parked. All he needed was to swing in the 3rd lane and watch for retards trying to pass him on the right as he turned.
@eddieandrews33353 жыл бұрын
Gets pretty messy when they don't back up. City's need dedicated pilot vehicles to clear the way for them at choke intersections or controlled lights set back when semis are approaching.

The United States is in serious need of Infrastructure Improvements The United States is falling further and further behind in Infrastructure Advancements compared to China, Korea, Japan , and even Russia. The United States is looking like a Third World Country ... Where does your toll booth money goes? ...Where does your property taxes go ? ... It's certainty not being emphasized in building up America's decrepit and rusting infrastructures that's for sure :(
