the button they’re talking about around 3:20 is the accessibility assistance button (blue circle with the international wheelchair symbol). The reference to the blue line door buttons is because they have similar shaped buttons (circle with outwards pointing arrows) for opening the door at Bowdoin.

It's always fun to hear the Windows 98 Ding at the MBTA stations. 😆 The ER-like sound effects in the Orange Line and the red flashing lights are a bit excessive. 😅 14:42 Encore! Thank you for sharing this efficient subway ride along with great views of the city, AK! 🤗

Yeah so is the MBTA as unreliable as people say it is? I’m going to Boston Tomorrow and I’m gonna depend on the T to get around cause I don’t have a car at the moment.

I take the T all the time, it is very unreliable. There are speed bans all over the MBTA so it is very slow and they are always using shutting down train lines and putting people on shuttles so they can do maintenance. It used to take me 20 mins from where I live to downtown crossing now takes about 1 hour to an hour and a half and I only live about 10 miles from Boston

It can be unreliable since much of the maintenance hasn't been performed.

The Commuter Rail is very reliable. The subways… less so.

Hate the flat plastic seats on those new carriages. Brutal if you have a bad back like I do.
