I used to love weekends in the city because all the business people were gone...you had the whole city to yourself. Great story about the unsafe building.

As a New Yorker, born and raised in the Bronx, I haven’t been back to the city in over 30 years... I’m amazed at how many retail and commercial spaces closed down, available for rent, or just boarded up along Lexington ave, especially in midtown. It’s like the heart of the city is dying to me...makes me really think about ever going back. NYC has always changed and evolved, but the changes I see in your video, makes me a bit sad for my city. In the last 30 years I have lived in different cities in different countries, but I ALWAYS considered NYC as “where I’m from” when asked, especially in Europe and Asia. I pray for wiser minds and wiser citizens who will bring this city back to prominence. Thanks Action Kid for these walks, it’s probably the only way I’ll get a ground level view of how things are going in the City, especially the outer boroughs. Thanks again for your art.

You're welcome! It troubles me seeing all the vacant stores and spaces along Lexington.

The tourists, commuters and business travelers haven't returned to Manhattan. The endless shutdowns and restrictions killed these businesses. Also crime and public safety is an issue. Lack of prosecution and no bail laws lead to chaos. Remember last summer? Rioters weren't prosecuted and businesses were destroyed. Why open a business when the city will allow that? Office workers don't want to wear a mask all day in an office and vaccine passports to enter most businesses is another issue. All these issues are destroying midtown and the economy .

@@barbarapettry6817 Louis Rossman has a series of videos where he roams around Manhattan documenting the empty storefronts. It's amazing how many stores are empty. Madison Ave has a vacancy rate of 39 percent. He also documented 7th and 8th avenues. Empty stores and sketchy characters everywhere.

Hi Super Walker, enjoying this vid very much, stock tip!! check top earning scaffolding cos in NYC, But on a more serious note, we here in NZ are required to have any construction equipment to be safety fitted where public may be injured, i am sure there could be serious liabilities levied against companies hiring or installing street level scaffolding, always enjoy your productions, be safe, peace to all

well first of all if you're not going to do anything about what you're feeling on you not going to be praying then it's not none of your business what's happening on the street we already know why you doing this it's because you trying to see who's doing drugs out here that's the only reason why you are out here and you do doing these videos you should do one on yourself it will be nice because you are not going to report this to the state or the government or the president you're not going to go and ask him any questions of why he continued or why they continue to let this happen do something about it don't send me do something about it if you care if you have a heart
