The American dollar is on the high side now compared to the Canadian dollar. I was in New Jersey 2 weeks ago and having high tea with my sister, the bill comes to $71.42 USD, and that is converted to $103.79 CAD.

This was informative as you described the costs, security features, and materials used to make the coins and banknotes. It was nice to see the comparison on the older vs new bills, but I was hoping you would also have the 90s design of the $5, $10, & $20 bills. 😆 It was cool to see the older coins (especially the $1 coins from the 1920s), and you had fun dropping the coins. 😁 Thank you for sharing the tips and history, AK! 🤗💸

There are a couple more bills out there but are really rare so are not circulated. The $1000 note which was a limited run. I don’t think there’s more than like a 100 out there and the $10,000 note which is extremely rare as only like one sheet was ever released but recalled by the mint in Colorado. They are more collectors items but are still legal tender.

That’s right. There’s even a $500 bill featuring William McKinley on the front but it’s very rare to find.
